App Freezes - Does Not Work
I am using this app on the latest iPhone with the latest iOS release, and I just downloaded the app today, so I have to assume it is the latest version of the app. (This is for the developer’s benefit, because in response to some reviews, the developer asks if the user has the latest versions.). When I start the app, a screen flashes, then disappears, asking if I want to open settings to allow push notifications. That alone is annoying. The app scans my pages beautifully, including multiple pages into one note. But then the app comes up short. With one exception, the app freezes when I try anything, and the only remedy is to shut down and restart, only to experience the same thing. It will not allow renaming of a note. It will not send a PDF. I cannot delete a note. The exception is that I can share a note by, for example, email. The email recipient gets a jpg file, but only the first page. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling, with the same results. Unfortunately, the app is useless.
Camera doesn’t work
Camera keeps failing as I try to scan the corners of my flash cards. Do not reccomend
I really want to give this 5 stars…
I like the concept very much. The execution leaves a bit to be desired. Just so many bugs here folks, so so many bugs.
I gave up on trying to personalize this with my own picture. While it looks possible, it’s not, it keeps freezing and needing to be restarted. Just isn’t possible currently. So many other freeze ups just exploring the app, I wonder how it will work when I actually try to use it!
Come on guys, make it work right.
App Crashes
I am new to this app. Just trying to log in and create an account has been hard as the app crashes every few minutes.
Did not meet expectations
The idea of this app is very cool, the execution is not. I’ve had to redownload this app because of crashes. I’ve scanned notes, and when later trying to search a keyword like they advertised, it says, “nothing found.” I know my handwriting isn’t that bad. I like the Hamelin notebooks, but not this app, it is also very slow.

L’appli fonctionne avec les cahiers et feuille de la marque.
Super pratique pour classer et retrouver ses notes, le système a une fonction de recherche bluffante. Malgré le fait que je sois gaucher le système arrive à me relire et trouver les pages contenant des mots donnés !!!
Ensuite pour les étudiants il y a aussi des fiches de révision qui fonctionnent sur le même principe : on a donc toutes ses fiches de révision à disposition sur son smartphone …

I just want to use the camera capture feature without letting someone sell my private data.
Does Not Work
Downloaded app with my new notebook. I put in my email and it won’t accept my gmail, my work email, my outlook email, my own domain email. I have tried the app on an android & iOS devices. I have no idea why this does not work but the only reason I purchased this notebook was for the ability to use an app to store my notes in the cloud. I am an admin for an rmm software used by a MSP. I have done everything in my power to get this app to work, it is faulty and I would not recommend anyone to use this. I am blown away this is on the App Store when it does not work with any email placed into the field. I have tried making a business account and the education one neither take emails to create an account. If the manufacturer decides to respond to this, rather than giving me the same response that you are sorry I’m having this experience, I’d like you to explain why it is doing this and where I can find an area on your site that can remedy this. If you cannot provide a solution here and now then I rest my case.
10/7/22 - was contacted by developer and they confirmed this is an issue they need to have their team look at. Which does nothing for me, since I am buying this for the app integration. I purchased a Rocketbook and out of the box the app is flawless. The scanning is amazing, through the app the cloud integration works very well. I can erase the days notes save em and keep going. I bought the executive notebook it’s slightly more than the one here but it’s reusable and the app works. I have no desire to wait for an app from these folks when other companies exist like Rocketbook. I was very skeptical but I will never go back after using it all last week! I am over the moon happy with this Rocketbook. I would get one for anyone who takes notes then wants to store them in the cloud effortlessly!
For me, this does one thing, and it does it well. Better than any similar app.
I remember reading an early review of this app, wondering why you needed an app to take a picture of what you’ve written, when you could do that with any scanning app or even any photo app.
I tried using any scanning app and any photo app. But it just wasn’t the same as Scribzee. The images from the other apps were just basically photos or scans that for some reason or another didn’t look like actual pages. But the scans, the images, from Scribzee actually look like the pages that I just finished writing.
I know the app can do more than what I use it for. But for me it does one thing and it does it well. Thank you.
Amazing
I feel like I’m constantly in the future. I’m studying Korean right now and it’s so helpful to be able to pull up my notes onto my phone with no glare or anything. I’d highly recommend the book and app for its technology.
