SCU Mobile App

The app does not work well on iPads or tablets. Regularly gives the messages “There is no Internet Connection” and will not open although there is a connection and other apps work. Has to be deleted and reinstalled to fix.

Is so buggy. I’ve had to download and re-download multiple times. Constantly freezing, not connecting. Worst app I’ve used to date.

Apparently I forgot my password but I used the same one I do every single time I log in. I tried to reset it and make a new one and it says “we are unable to complete your request at this time”.

As I’m writing this review, I’m re-downloading the SCU app for the 20th time, because not once I’m my 7 years i’ve banking with SCU have I been able to login with out re-downloading the app or using Face ID. i’ve probably had to call their office over 20 times as well because there have been so many issues with me trying to login and having to reset my password or re-download the app. pretty much any time I want to do any online banking there’s an issue with this app. So incredibly annoying.

Test test test your app before releasing it to people who will actually use it. I have a personal account and a business account when I switch between them, which is every time I check my accounts, Face ID is suddenly disabled… I enter the password go in and enable Face ID. if I log out and log back into the exact same account the next time I can use Face ID but anytime I switch to the other account I have to put the password in and Face ID is disabled once again. And every time I enable Face ID it emails me to let me know that I’ve made changes to my account. Small thing I know and I’m sure there is a fix for it.

Horrible update again. I can’t understand how they can consistently make their app worse. Every update is always super glitchy and it takes forever to fix and we lose very important features m. Now I can’t accept an e-transfer. Getting so sick of Steinbach credit unions online banking.

So I open the app, it asks to update and sents you into a loop back to the same app to update. Thanks for nothing. Now it’s not useable at all.

Still isn’t working wth

Had lots of time sensitive construction jobs that got cancelled due to not having access to my own money using this app. I would bank elsewhere 100%. As soon as I can I will be closing my account with SCU for this reason. Good luck to anyone banking there

This app is just awful. It takes several steps to do most tasks and is so non-intuitive that to do the most simple things (look up old statements, add a payee, set regular payments for example) is difficult to figure out and takes a lot of trial and error. A very frustrating app.
