1-day Subscription doesn’t work
Subscribed the one-day service to try out the app/Ultra for my dive. But it keeps saying mine is the “free” plan.
Good
Helpful in much more better way
Be careful planning to use it as primary diving watch
New version of app is hanging in iPhone (first screen and than nothing). To make it even worse, my watch is not recognizing I have subscription. It means I can’t do scuba diving - just snorking now. I’m on diving trip so… I don’t recommend to use it as primary scuba dive watch. You can get cut from it anytime. As application is not loading, I can’t refresh a fact I have the subscription. Disapointed. Latest iOS, iPhone14 Pro Max.
Dangerous
Locks you out mid dive if you exceed the max depth by even 0.1m. Still reads depth fine, but you lose access to your deco data the moment it locks you out. You can’t even finish your dive safely. I would almost accept being locked out if it did it at the surface interval, after letting you finish your dive safely. Doing it mid dive is absurd. Do not use.
Great recreational option
Combined with the Apple Watch ultra this is a very capable option for a recreational diver. I used it for deep diving (up to 40m) certification and nitrox courses and dives and it was perfect. If you are getting started, no need for a dedicated dive computer with this option. One star more if they can create an air integrated option and some more data points like CNS and average depth.
Expensive but cannot connect
Why apple doesn’t provide its own scuba diving feature in depth. This app doesn’t even work with ultra 2. Always cannot connect to my Apple Watch.
Over charged 3 time One-Day-Pass but not working and no refund
Poor subscription issue at 5/11. My friend and I also facing the same issues when we planning to do dive that day morning. When we tried to subscribe one-day pass. It said payment succeed but it still showing “Free” in subscription…. I tried 3 times still the same. Finally I need to subscribe the monthly plan (I even accidentally clicked the monthly free-diving it cost me extra more). And Apple refuse to refund my 3 times one-day pass. I also unable to get that 3 times one day pass. I log a case to oceanic+ also no reply. I really disappointed as the only reason I bought Apple Watch ultra is for the diving feature. I am regretted to recommend my friend to buy the Apple Watch Ultra for diving purpose. It is not the first time I face issue for the subscription issue. For those who haven’t buy yet if you may reconsider for a much simpler option. All divers know you got no choice if the day pass not success then you force to buy the monthly that day that time for safety reason. I may consider to buy another simpler diving computer instead. To add on, although the support mention below said they will contact me. But when I wrote to them no reply at all. Don’t reply said your will contact the customer for fake.
A great dive comp to start with
can see clearly underwater, big numbers n good for the middle age divers whose nearsighted eye is failing. Overall the app is good but 1star for sync. Despite after sync declared on phone, I still can’t see my logged dive.
