Seabourn Source FAQ
Is Seabourn Source free?
Yes, Seabourn Source is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Seabourn Source legit?
⚠️ The Seabourn Source app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
App needs to be modified to work with VPNs used by passengers to keep personal data secure while traveling. It requires passengers to disconnect from their VPN to see anything in the app, then reconnect VPN to re-secure their data and continue using their other apps. No one who wants to keep their personal data secure uses unsecured WiFis without a VPN anymore. Please take customer data security needs seriously and update the app accordingly.
“Check, please!”
Daily dining/ menu updates have not been loading for over a week. It’s a feature we enjoy to give us an “appetite” for upcoming cruises. Would be nice to see the daily menus for all ships, not just the ship of our next cruise. Would also be interesting to track current position of all of the ships. Maybe post the Daily Herald from each ship so we can see how much fun we are missing! Thanks!
Disorganized and not intuitive
Needs a lot of improvement
Can’t login
I downloaded the app to prepare for my upcoming cruise, but it just gives me an error every time I try login. I can login fine on the website.
Horrible App
Doesn’t work. Can’t get in. Rep says it’s fine from what she can see—odd when I can’t even get it to do anything. She says someone might be able to fix it on a weekday, because they don’t have people who can fix it on a Saturday. Or maybe O can try to fix it on the cruise-ideal use of vacation time waiting in line to fix their app. This cruise line is looking bad, like fake luxury—pretty on the outside and cheap on the inside where customers don’t see it.
Bad
Heavy massive battery drain.
Poorly Designed
I’ve been bombarded with emails from Seabourn telling me to download this app in order to access my boarding pass for a 3/22/22 sailing. But when I downloaded the app and logged on, the app required me to click a link that takes me back to the main SB web portal.
What’s the point of having an app that does this?
Update Glitch
Downloaded the latest update to the app today in preparation for our upcoming cruise. Disappointed that the app crashes when you press the prompt to retrieve boarding passes. The app just closes and it no longer connects to the boarding passes. Luckily, I previously copied the boarding passes to my Apple wallet and have printed hardcopies as well. This update definitely needs a six.
Useful Tool
It would be helpful to add reservations for the Thomas Keller restaurant.
Once installed, it can only be searched for by the keyword, “source.” It should be renamed to “Seabourn Source.”
Pretty good, some weirdness
I like that we’ll be able to see what’s on the menu at restaurants, and I like that I was able to book excursions from it. I hope it will connect to the ship WiFi for free each day when we are on board so we get the daily newsletter.
My only gripe is that the dinner reservations don’t show up on my app (even tho I booked them), but only show up in my husband’s (I listed him as an attendee). Just made me panic when they were no longer listed in my activities.
I also had similar things happen with the spa treatments and retreat reservations, but they seem to have fixed those now. Overall, a decent app, will be perfect once they fix it so reservations show up for both attendees.
