SEAiq Pilot is designed especially for use by river, channel, and harbor pilots. It includes support for charts in the S-57, S-63, iENC and BSB/KAP formats and use of external NMEA/AIS over WiFi.
IMPORTANT: For non-pilots, we recommend SEAiq and SEAiq USA.
This app is free to download. All features are available during a 7-day evaluation period. An in-app purchase is required to permanently upgrade the app, otherwise after the evaluation period only basic chart viewing is supported.
SEAiq Pilot and SEAiq Pilot VPP are the exact same app and differ only in how they are purchased.
Features unique to SEAiq Pilot include:
* Support for official HO S-57/S-63 marine charts
* Adheres to IHO S-52 chart display standards
* Predicted vessel display (with ROT)
* Docking aids displaying distance/velocity to wharf fenders

* NMEA/AIS record and playback
* Waypoints, routes, ETA, XTD, speed limits
* Route Meeting Point

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Very high value app.
I have been using this app for 4 months now and I am very impressed. I am a GBR pilot and use it as an aid during pilotage through the Great Barrier Reef coastal pilotage. It is far superior to other nav apps I have tried and it has the ability to load s63 which makes it acceptable as far as our local regs concerning ECS goes.The developers quick response to feedback and suggestions is also very impressive. It is a little slow on my ipad2 , but that could be because of the s63's and me being too cheap to get a new iPad..!
EDIT: I’m not sure why seaiq is no longer answering emails on both their info and sales address??? We’re just trying to get our enterprise subscription paid ???

An outstanding product.
In my career as a Marine Pilot I have road tested a lot of PPU software and this is by far the best there is on the market. Intuitive menu structures built on the recommendations of pilots from around the world coupled with excellent support and competitive pricing this product ticks all the boxes.
Seaiq for Port Pilotage
Excellent tool for Port pilotage . The docking mode is very useful .
SEAiq Pilot
A very good product that is still receiving attention to incorporate new and relevant features. Excellent value for money. Even has some better features than ECDIS.
Reef pilot
I have been a user of another program on my MacBook and resisted changing to SEAiq Pilot. However I was persuaded to try it and I am seriously impressed. I won't be going back, everything about the program is excellent and its tie up with voyagebank an added bonus.

The best valued Pilot App
SEAiq is by far the best the app that support S57, S63, CM93 and many other formats, that I have ever downloaded for marine navigation. My favourite before this was OpenCPN but that program did not support official ENC’s. The installation of charts is so simple, creating, importing and exporting of routes is a breeze. There are a few minor bugs but, nothing that can’t be worked around. The presentation s great and information display is large enough that the critical data can be read easily. I have not used the harbour pilot features yet but, I believe they will be great.
