Secure by Virgin Money Australia is used by Home Loan customers to authenticate certain types of online transactions in the Virgin Money Hub.

To use Secure by Virgin Money Australia you will firstly need to register for the Hub and have a daily limit which requires the use of a Security Token. To register for the Hub and activate Secure by Virgin Money Australia, please contact our Customer Care Team on 13 81 51, 7 days a week 8am-9pm (AEST).

Secure by Virgin Money Australia is provided by Bank of Queensland Limited ABN 32 009 656 740 (BOQ) AFSL and Australian Credit Licence No 244616.

App stuck in the stone ages

This app is so backwards and provides such limited features for a bank. I have accounts with many banks and cannot believe just how useless this virgin banking app is. Do better!

Virgin is a failure

2 years since the last review and no app In 2021, did you run out of money to develop an app?

Scam?

The proper link from virgin Australia does not go to this app. Seems like a scam surprised virgin and apple allow this Either that or this is an old beta that should have been removed

Is it even still in use

Can’t open it just says welcome back loading for like ever not great before that either never heard of facial recognition?

Useless, annoying and offensive

Echoing all other reviews. Virgin, this is such a pathetic banking app, it’s offensive (& a waste of time). The brand has so much potential and promise but this really is a (not at all funny) joke. You can pay real developers to create something that provides users with what they need or you can lose customers to other institutions. Your call.

Disappointing

Disappointed with how clunky and lacking in detail a lot of Virgin’s banking transactions are so far and hoped this app would offer something more or better. I thought this app would give me faster access to my loan and offset account to track my transactions and more easily do transfers and see a better description than “pay anyone” than the website does. On CALLING (what?!) to activate this mobile app, I’m told this app is only to do secure daily/regular transactions of over $5k?! ALL other financial institutions I’ve dealt with have a banking app. Why don’t Virgin have a banking app yet?!

Wanted to use it for online banking!

There used to be an app that I could check my credit card account in, but it stopped working. Really wish they'd bring out another one.

Needs update and improvements

No credit card access

No also thought I could track my credit card transaction.. but alas it’s only for home loans.. still have to log into via web and that the site is very old looking and not very interactive...

Home loan only

App came up when I searched Virgin Credit Card. As per other post, only for home loans. Really wish there was an app to track my credit card spending.
