Useless since update
Since the update a few months ago this app is not only useless, but has made the Canon Selphy itself useless. Massive waste of money.

SELPHY Photo Layout is an application that allows you to create/save layouts of images to be printed with SELPHY using images stored on your smartphone or tablet.

Love this app
I recently bought a Canon Celphy CP1500 (excellent printer btw) and this app has been the easiest app i’ve ever had to navigate which is a huge relief as a photographer as i’m able to quickly edit up my car photos and print them on the go to give to the car owners, the smile on their face makes this me love this app above all.
No longer connects to Wi-Fi
App used to be great. Super easy to set up and start printing. Since the update, I had issues getting the device to connect to Wi-Fi to print. Deleted app and redownloaded as suggested on Canon’s website and now I can’t get the device to register with the app at all. Very little information online to assist with troubleshooting. Now my printer is useless.
New update
Can’t choose to print multiple copies now. Also asks for wifi network every single pic. I must be missing something

I love my canon selphy! I’m so impressed with the quality of print that I can achieve. And the different sizes and options for paper makes the printer so much fun to use!
Why the needless update??
The app was great. If it aint broke dont fix it. Please return it to the old system! The new selection/layout process means you cant print out large amounts of photos in the same layout which triples the time spent trying to print images. Additionally, the borders being a slider scale is silly and should have a drop down instead so we know the dimensions of the borders we choose.
The update is terrible
Why can I only print 1 page at a time now! And where are the preset layouts??? It used to be soooo good and easy to use. I don’t like the update at all.
Selphy 1300 not working
It wants to go thru the canon app to work. Driving me nuts
Features missing from old version
I miss the old version of the app with the old Bookmark function. The old bookmark function added a line and adjusted the spacing equal for a“Photobooth look.”. The new layout for this isn’t the same, the borders are too thin
DEVELOPERS COULD EASILY INCREASE PRODUCT RATINGS
All I’m saying is that the printer and the hardware is great, it only takes a few more functions like allowing the colour picking to be any of the multimillion different colours, allowing more custom layouts, a much greater range/custom transparent imprinted effects (for the cp1500 and similar models) and a more text customisations (like font, bold, background border customisation). All it is is a bit more software side. Otherwise everything else is great.
