Senza FAQ
Is Senza free?
Yes, Senza is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Senza legit?
🤔 The Senza app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
The app has a multitude of features to make your life on keto and intermittent fasting really easy. From the recipes you can search and log to your journal, to building your own recipes, log fasts, ketones, glucose, everything is very easy to use. And you can link to your fitbit account and apple health. I love it!
I USED to love this app…now, not so much.
This was the first and only app I downloaded when I started Keto, and it has helped tremendously in tracking my macros. One of my many issues is that every once in awhile, a food I’m logging shows more net carbs on the app than my calculation. When I check the label, I can see that the item is not subtracting sugar alcohols like Erythritol. This is likely a user entry error. It would be great to have an easy way to submit a “request change” on an item, showing the nutritional information for correction on the item. Also, would love the option of changing units on ALL items. It’s frustrating to measure food in grams, only to discover the food listing in only in ounces.
The dark background HAS to go - it’s hard to read even if you’re a huge fan of dark mode. I realize it’s the Senza color scheme, but it’s hard on older eyes.
When I first started using the app (prior to the pandemic) there was the option of submitting recipes from websites, or submitting new products that weren’t listed. That option went away for some reason, and now, any new product has to be manually entered. While I’m not paying to use this app, I’m also not being paid to do the work. (Feel free to hire me and pay me to enter recipes and products!)
I also dislike the fact that I can not go back to log food more than one week past. And I can’t look beyond about a month at my foods. It would be nice to be able to back-log food, as well as have an archive.
Entering recipes using your app is archaic, clunky, and time consuming. Often, you can not find an ingredient, so you have to exit the recipe to scan the barcode or create the product. And quite often, the measurement you need for the item/product does not correlate with available measurements in the app. If I enter table salt, I should be given the option of grams, tsp, tbsp, oz, cups, etc.
If I’m entering a recipe from a website, I should be able to link it, and it should automatically pull it from the website. The last recipe I entered required me to exit out of the app 3 times so that I could copy the instructions. I had to enter “fake” ingredients because it wouldn’t allow me to get to the instructions until after an ingredient was entered, even after the recipe had been created and I was modifying it.
Please, PLEASE make this app more user friendly!!!
Weight not accurate
I love this app for tracking food. However, it will randomly add weights I have not added and when I go to delete them they pop up again so my statistics and macros get thrown off. Hoping this is fixed in a future update.
Please PLEASE fix this
I love this app, it’s helped me lose 20lbs in a month. The one thing that I find so incredibly frustrating is that you cannot go backwards and see the values previously entered on data points on the weight chart. I don’t know why this wouldn’t be an available function, it just doesn’t make sense. I can’t see what I weighed yesterday, the week before, I only see a data point with no value on a timeline. It’s so simple, please please ADD THIS!!!
Love it, BUT
Two things:
1) it would be helpful to have an ingredients tab or to add the ingredients to the details page since ingredients are one of the biggest highlights of this diet. It's not instinctual to go to details and need to scroll.
2) how do I get rid of the pop up videos when I scroll on a recipe. It's impossible to stop it from continuing to pop up. I'll literally pay to make it stop it's driving me insane!
Good app
I’m loving this app and the ability to track my macros. It’s a great help in this lifestyle. It was a little difficult at first but I’m catching on. Only one drawback so far. I sent a chat through their system to request help and no one ever responded.
Stopped working no support
Used this app for a long time and loved it. Stopped for awhile and just went back to it to find the journal wont’t load. Removed the app downloaded again and still won’t load journal. App support is 404 page not found….so has become useless, too bad!
Love for the first sight
The best advice you can get on keto and love recipes ❤️
Best keto app
They have absolutely everything in here and if they don't you can request it be added and they do it promptly including online recipes which will count your carbs.
They make it very easy
App is ok but UI not the best
Logging food seems to work fine. Display is very poor you can hardly read some of it. Light colored writing or icons in small font on black background seems like a bad choice.
Other parts of the interface are not intuitive.
