Love!

This app has a great selection, it's easy to use, and definitely helps me feel inspired to read more. I think my favorite part is that you can link your goodreads and it automatically updates your reading progress for you. Free version is great and premium version is reasonably priced and completely worth the upgrade. This app is amazing 😍

So good

Notmuchofapoet on

I love this app so much i’d marry it. It makes reading addictive - I’ve gone through half of the count of monte cristo in about 3 weeks. I’ve read ahead of course but seeing it broken down in 15 mins chapters gets me reading everywhere, since there really is no excuse to not read for 5 mins vs scroll on twitter. It has helped me keep and improve my new years resolution of reading more, since im tackling these huge books and really enjoying them. Plus the little awards are a nice incentive. And everything is so carefully and skillfully designed, a real treat. I prefer it to the apple Books app or Kindle. Download the paid version and upload your own ebooks, you wont regret it.

If you….., Love to read…. Love to “ discover works” you haven’t read yet… Support this app ! Not only Is this app user friendly , beautiful in appearance intelligently designed- With a dev who responds to requests, It is one of the rarest of websites- One where you loose track of time- ….. and you wind up….happy, and ….smarter.. Then you were before….. I have deleted and redownloaded this app several times….always coming back Great, great, and or, great

Such an enjoyable app

I just started using the app for a group book club and it is so wonderful! Its so easy to use, and the little personal details (such as the badges, the fun facts, etc.) are so charming. I purchased the full app and it is well worth the $3, I promise. I love being able to pause the serials when I've gone too far, and im able to choose when I receive my next portion, which relieves a lot of stress when life gets busy. The reading options are so considerate, all around a great app!!

Great concept and execution!

This app is awesome. Not only is the idea genius, but the execution is great. It’s so easy to set up and start reading, everything is on your schedule, and the reading experience is great. Such a good way to read all those books you meant to read forever ago!

Great idea, with even better execution!

liammbrowne on

Delivers exactly what one wants out of it, and works perfectly well with the free version. But with a one time payment of 3 bucks that goes to the one person who made the app, you get a bevy of quality of life features and a bunch of visual customization options. Cannot recommend this strongly enough if you’re trying to work your way through the classics in nice bite sized pieces!

Love this app

Love this app, but...

My review below was from some years ago, and until I came here to add this, I’d forgotten I’d written it. I’ve been using the app again for a few months now and am enjoying it very much. I rarely write reviews, but when I do it’s usually for something I love. This app is so cool, and this time around I’ve not had any trouble at all. I’ve actually been using it along with a handful of my students, reading Frankenstein together for an academic contest and posting our progress to encourage one another. The app has proven especially helpful for this. But I’ve also started another book on my own. I love how the app presents each day in a sitcom-length or smaller portion, making it possible to enjoy an “episode” and then move on, which I do early, before my children awaken. It just helps to have another source of reading, and it does so in a way that helps provide a manageable routine. For the person who wishes to read more “serious” (and “classic”) literature, perhaps especially for the sort who sort of feels intimidated by the thickness of the book, this app is perfect. // Have been using this app for a few months with no problems until yesterday. I finished My Ántonia and then everything disappeared. All four of my completed books were no longer there. I had planned to reread a portion of My Ántonia, but that obviously became impossible. My best friend said the same thing happened to him. Luckily, I had just completed a book; had this happened mid-way through it would have been much more frustrating (not like getting and illness or losing your religion frustrating, but certainly maddening within the context of the app experience). Until this happened I loved the app. I still do, but I guess I am cautious. Now I am hesitant to start a new book. Because of my enthusiasm, at least ten others are using the app! I hope you guys can fix this. Perhaps saving progress in the cloud?
