I used this app and my song went to #1

I used the bass and drums on this app and added my lead guitar and vocal. Put the chords into a cool rock blues sequence, mixed it all on pro tools, and next minute my song went to number in the blues charts on iTunes! Now there’s a story for you sessionband team! You should do an interview with me to speak highly of your app!!! Cheers. Peter

Create custom backing tracks

Edited review: no more crashes. Very useful for creating your own backing tracks. Can export tracks or just use within app and play it through any Bluetooth speakers to jam (really useful, not all apps have that feature)

Sooo helpful

This is such an amazing app. I use this app when I go to piano lessons and it makes life so much easier and it's so much fun. I can put my scales to a backing or even just make a cool cord loop. Would recommend this for everyone!!!

Mind blowing

Don't listen to the other idiot who posted his review, I've found this app to be unbelievable when compared to other backing track apps. What sets this apart is the fact you can input/transpose your favourite song and play along to it. In other words, you put in the chord progressions from tabs/sheet music, and its duration, (4 X bars C + 2 X Bars F7 + 1 X bars G), hit the save button, then hit the play button. It only takes a few sessions to get your head around how to access all the controls. It's a very logical process actually, you don't need to be a musician to nail it. It took me about 3 minutes to setup and create a 12 bar blues song. There are nice variety of little drum frills to mix it up a bit and give the tune some colour. But, if your not up to doing all that, there are dozens of different songs of various styles and chord progressions ready to go. There is a mini mixing desk where you lower the volume of the track which is applicable to you, I'm a bass player, so I mute the bass track, but if you are a guitarist, you would mute the guitar track. Well worth the money. How anyone can give this the thumbs down is beyond me. I rarely write reviews, but I felt obliged after reading the other dudes unfair attack. Do what I did, buy the blues version, and if you're happy with that, go ahead and buy the bundle. The only negative is that it hogs a lot of space, about 800megs. But I guess all those loops add up. Conclusion, get it, it's the only backing track app that you can edit, and all the loops are done by professional studio musicians, they are crisp. It's as close as playing with a band as you'll ever get.

useless for backing tracks

starts with Audiobus won't initialise and will be disabled message. it doesn't get any better from there. the "segments" have guitar soloing all over them which can't be turned off. I wanted this to use as backing tracks to play over. not hear someone elses solos on loop mode. really dreadful and I'd like my money back too!!!

Major tempo issue

Great idea and sounds but as soon you change tempo you have to close app and open again as no other settings are accessible. You are effectively stuck using the preset tempo as far as usability goes. There's been no update at least since this app went on sale at Christmas. Time for an update!!!

Hopeless

Will not launch. Crashes. Pointless. I want my money back. Had to give it one star to submit the review but it doesn't deserve any stars. Cheers ... Nick
