Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current subscription period. Payment will automatically be charged to the credit card connected with your iTunes Account as you confirmed the initial subscription purchase.
You can manage your subscription in iTunes settings. Auto-renewal can be turned off by going to your Account Settings after the purchase. The unlocked features in the free version will be fully accessible when you purchase a subscription.
