ShinyHunt: Shiny Counter

The app is amazing but (though I don’t have shinies in it yet) Pokemon sleep should be added.

This would be a great app if the timer kept running when your phone is on power save mode. I was hunting cresselia for an hour but when I turned my phone back on the time said 3 minutes.

The app is fantastic, i’ve been using the website for ages and decided to try out the app, works exactly the same and is just as brilliant. The only thing, and i know it’s a nitpick, the dex numbers for the new gen 9 pokémon are incorrect and it bugs me because i like to keep track of these things correctly. But this does not hinder the experience and usefulness of this app, it’s still fantastic just something that I notice when I use it.

This app is fantastic it helps me keep track of how many encounters I have and the time it took me so when poeple ask me how many tries it took I can actually tell them

I have never made an account and it says my emails already have been used to make an account

The idea of a portable shiny hunting counter/Pokédex is something that i was very excited to see. However, i am disappointed that i cannot add previously caught shinies to my collection as that feature does not work properly for me.

Hello, I just wanted to say I have given this app a low review because of the fact when you add an encounter the whole timer goes back to 0, like what’s the point, it just seems the app isn’t working, or if this is intended it’s silly as you could just simply make a new hunt each time you finish the encounter. It might just be a bug, if so and it works correctly I will definitely increase my rating

I love this, it got me to count my shinies since release. However, a feature that I would love to be implemented in the app is a hide shiny button where you don’t see certain shinies like the newer ones so you don’t get spoiled. That is the only thing to add, keep up the good work and I will use this forever.

Fantastic app and I’ve loved seeing all the updates and changes as each new game comes out. Shame that it’s now gone into 2D sprites but I can understand as the 3D sprites look very different in-game in Gen 9 and haven’t become fully available yet for projects like this. I would suggest a feature for Gen9 to be picnic resets. It’s great that the mass outbreaks are added to count to 60 easier, but would be great to see a sub-counter added if possible to track how many picnics you’ve done too. Love the app though, and looking forward to future updates!
