I read about the product in a local magazine, and decided to go with it. I paid a subscription fee, but the iPhone app just sync infinite. The first 10 receipts synced well, but the last 10 i scanned just seems to be "pending". Their support tells me to delete the app, re-install and rescan my receipts. Why on earth would that be needed? Fix the code, the idea is great - and their e-mail service works great; but the iPhone app sucks; make it work.
When it works well this is a fair app. But buyer beware: back everything up because receipts will occasionally disappear with no trace and expect crickets if you request support. Also the app and the website are sometimes not synchronized. If this was a way to track songs or movies it would be fine, but for personal finance the stakes are too high for this level of glitchiness.
I downloaded the app to help keep business and personal life a little more organized. But I can’t even “try for free”. Every time I try to sign up, I keep getting error code 422
I’ve used Shoeboxed for years. No product improvement. Very slow. Poor account categorization. Looking for alternatives.
Can’t get started. Error 404
The updated app is terrible. I can’t add my receipts manually quickly anymore. The amount from the receipt doesn’t show up either. It takes 10 hits on the “edit” and enter manually button before it even responds. Then afterwards it shows no price Redering my receipts at 00.00. Unless this is fixed I recommend not purchasing this. I wish I could go back to the old format which worked perfectly for me for years.
I attempted 3x to load the program and the app would not allow me to create a user id and password. Kept getting errors. Deleted
I’ve been using this app since 2019 and in the last year or so maintenance has been unsatisfactory. Doesn’t send emails to clients when prompted. Doesn’t produce/add spreadsheet for submission. Works when it wants to. 0 tech support.
