I like the workout element, but the Apple Watch Ultra integration just doesn’t work. The watch app crashes/closes every 10 second during a workout. Half the time I don’t use it but then when you reopen it to try again it after a few sessions its runs through every set you’ve done since across all workouts. It’s also not clear if you’re meant to open an Apple fitness workout at the same time, either way the watch integration needs sorting out. I find I have to still use Apple fitness workout as otherwise my workouts are not recorded into the health app.
App overall is good but it keeps crashing and knocks me out of it having to resume the exercises and can’t use it simultaneously with Spotify playing music - very annoying having to chose between listening to music or using the app :(
Good value for money, keeps you focus even on the off-days when it’s hard work to motivate
I have it in intense but feel the coaching style by has mellowed. I need the tougher coach style version before the updates
Day 9 of the 21 day challenge and I can say that whilst it’s hard work, I’m seeing the benefits already. Lost weight and toning up nicely. The trainer’s pace and combination of exercises keeps it just about manageable for a beginner like me. The duration of sessions is just right. The challenge is an achievable objective. I’m even looking forward to each routine. Being able to watch the trainer and see myself on the screen means you can self-adjust your posture to ensure the exercise is done correctly. Great work Shred. Highly recommend.
I was struggling to come up with workouts for my self but this does it all for me
Everything is really laid out and organised, the app is easy to navigate and gives you alternate exercises if equipment is being used (very valuable in a small gym). I’d also like to mention that it integrates well with your music players and offers you motivational tracks and podcasts. Unlike from the negative reviews I’ve seen, you are definitely not conned into purchasing the subscription service for the app which gives you access to more tailored exercise options and added features but the free version more than has enough features to be worthwhile. Regardless, even if you don’t have enough money to buy the subscribed version for the entire year, I would recommend purchasing the subscription variably - just to show support for the company and its brilliant app.
Wish they had more free work outs. But nevertheless great app
An amazing app...tbh I was always shredded already from my hard work and I study martial arts but shred kept me in shape with nothing but my own body weight and the exercises are there with demonstrated correct form. 10/10 tbh and I’m looking forward to using it more once I recover from my workout on badass for over 60 minutes...it’s intense so I’m going on easy for now. Thanks for everything❤️💪🏾.
