I have used different eSIMs over the last few months and by far this is the worst one. I bought it at 9pm and it worked for a little while. I was on the WiFi from like 11pm so imagine my shock when I wasn’t on the WiFi the next day and the sim just stopped working. I tried contacting them on WhatsApp sent them screenshots and after a whole day of trying they turn around and say it’s because I had used the whole 5gb in TWO HOURS the night before. Mind you I had bought a different eSIM to contact them same amount of GB and yet that sim is working and somehow I managed to use their data in 2 hours. Don’t bother with this sim just stick with Saily or Airlo less trouble. When I asked for a refund they even stopped responding to me actual SCAMMERS.
Very easy to install and customer journey is very smooth and quick . The graphics of this app also makes it easy for the customer to choose the correct plan they need.
Love this app, helps me start connected wherever I travel too. Easy to use and great customer service.
Excellent app very user friendly, Prices are also very reasonable highly recommended.
I’ve been travelling from UK to UAE and US and was stressed out dripfeeding my roaming allowance. Ridiculously stressful. I used a Sim Local eSIM on my last trip to get a local data plan - perfect. It was just like using my phone at home - I didn’t have to think about it again.
First time I’ve used an eSIM but the experience was very simple. Delighted with the package as the data lasted my whole trip to Spain and was such a low cost. Told all my friends about SIM Local, as its crazy to be spending the high data roaming fees or turning off roaming when travelling. I’m a convert!
Nowhere does it say so BUT do not activate until arrival - i activated twice on plane before departure and both times the sim failed to work on arrival and I had to buy another. When it did work it was good and also good value compared to EE’s exorbitant charges!
I used eSIM while traveling in Sri Lanka. It worked very well and saved the hassle and fiddling around to swap physical SIM cards. The plan I used was reasonably and competitively priced. I will certainly use eSIM again and recommend the use of eSIM.
