Simple Flying - Aviation News

Definitely the best aviation news service there is. The amount of daily articles is incredible a long with a daily YouTube video and a long haul video once every few days. Been using this for over two years now. Please can there be a dark mode? It hurts my eyes when it’s dark and I want to read.

App doesn’t work

I have downloaded it several times but when I tried to open it doesn’t work and after waiting 5 minutes I give up.

Second rate reporting

Very USA centric, at times factually incorrect, the use of English and spelling is appalling. The contributors do not seem to have much experience in the aviation world and seem to be enthusiasts rather than professionals like those from Business Traveller.

It’s OK but…

The app is “OK”. The layout is a bit muddled but they do have the odd interesting story. However, the quality of writing is definitely a bit low rent. Maybe I’m just a bit pedantic, but the standard of English is pretty low. Sometimes it seems as though a child has written the article/s!

App Not Working

This app hasn’t worked for months. Originally the information passed to users was “Under Maintenance” so I emailed the team asking for an indication of when they expected the app would be working again but unfortunately no reply. A second follow-up email returned the same result - nothing! Whilst I enjoy the content produced by the team (as published on their website) it’d be great to the see the app operating once again. Very disappointing.
