Eh

SOUPERFART on

Alright, I just hate that you have to subscribe for ad-free reading and that you can’t search through.

Buggy mess but ok

It has quite a bad design, and there are lots of bugs, but it does the job

Uninstalled

Makes you subscribe if you want to read an article through the app… ok just don’t use the app and go through the browser. Ruined it unfortunately

Unusable

johnufc on

United Kingdom

App is now completely useless - deleted

A new clunky and user unfriendly experience

Ewukzz on

United Kingdom

With this new update, users are limited to either a paid ad-free experience or to be redirected to safari to read the article. In my opinion, this makes this app useless to casual users. I’d have no issues with embedded ads within the app if it meant that this app was no longer a bulky platform to redirect users to the website version. Or, at least make it so there are fewer button clicks. Once I’ve clicked on the article I want to read, scrolled to open it in the browser and consented to cookies I’ve lost any interest in reading. The appeal of the app previously was that it had informative articles at your fingertips. Now it’s a clunky mess.

Pay model has ruined newly designed app

Mynameisned on

United Kingdom

I bet you don’t write an article on your recent feedback. App based on click-bait and forced into subscription model to read articles after 3 clicks. Uninstalling. App has been ruined

I’m Out

MidwayReprise on

United Kingdom

“Updated with a new look”… forgets to mention the fact you now need to subscribe to read articles. *Jiggle mode…. Remove App*

Don’t bother!

frosty the snowman on

United Kingdom

This app at best was ok, but most of the time it was just pretty poor. So many times I have selected to view a news article and the wrong article constantly opens. Now they want a subscription to read the articles that are readily available elsewhere. Time to delete!

More modern

jordancrombie92 on

United Kingdom

Much more modern design, glad to see the article titles quickly came back. Hopefully the dark mode bug is fixed for good! Now just need to make the restore purchases button work!

Pay to read

Picloc on

United Kingdom

App ruined. Uninstalled. You now have to pay to read an article, or you’re just scrolling through pictures that don’t have that much relevance to the article. If I want to open in browser, I would do that in my own convenience with a bookmark. The app helped in the past as a quick News App. Sorry, nope, lost a user. Please revert.
