Simply Plural

Description

Simply Plural is an app designed for plurals/systems who want to keep track of their members and optionally share those details with their friends. The app also includes functionality to vote per member on decisions within the system as well as chatting with your members.
See your front history in a handy graph that shows every person who fronted.
We designed the app privacy-first and any data that is not explicitly set to shared by you will not be shared with anyone.
The app is built with accessibility in mind and comes with high contrast mode and dark mode for both dark and bright mode. In addition, you can scale up and down the font size. If you have any accessibility concerns we are very interested in listening.
In addition, we added the possibility to share who's front and to allow specific people or systems of your choosing to be notified of front changes, to more easily communicate who is front.
Should you need support with using this app or you are experiencing issues, do let us know on our Discord, we'd be happy to help.
Finally, we hope you enjoy this app :)

I’ve had simply plural for a few years and recently it’s started kicking me out of the app when I try to access my friends system accounts to check current front status

horribly confusing

not intuitive in the slightest and the onboarding barely helps. had to read the FAQ’s multiple times to even begin to understand how to use it. App is inaccessible to various disabilities, not even remotely visually accessible. very ironic considering the point of the app and that we have cognitive and memory issues

Helpful, really like it

How we got the app- We realized we were a system a bit ago when some of our friends were and we did some research and found out we were one too, and they recommended to download this app. What we like- We really like it because you can set reminders, talk between alters, make groups, profiles, etc. We also really like that you can add images, because we love putting pictures everywhere, it lets people know our aesthetic and what we like. We also like the custom fronts bc it can let people know what we're doing, who we are, if they can interact with us, etc. We like the privacy buckets too, because there are some alters and roles we only want certain people to see, like our fictives don't like being as public because they don't want people comparing to their source. We really just love everything about the app, honestly. Overall opinion- Love it, we use it everyday to keep track. Definitely very hard figuring out how it works when you first download, but when you get the hang of it it's super easy. Thank you for making this app, we appreciate it greatly<3 - from Maple🪼

The ap for Apple was a bit confusing, but it was just info for me and at least for my main purpose, it worked. But the other day I needed to check something, and I couldn’t log in. I’ve updated, removed and redownloaded, nothing except at first everything in that ap is gone, it’s blank. Brand new accoint. I would be willing to problem solve with someone involved in issues with the ap, but if all of it is gone, then I just can’t start al over again. When it did work, it was mainly just a way to track,things/ info. If I have to start from the beginning, I’d rather find or make something for my needs, including a so that deletes with no warning, everything. I honestly wish there was a negative star rating, but maybe I can at least give a heads up that you can loose everything you’ve added with the drop of the hat. Gutted…

So helpful for systems

It is a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, this app is the only app with an easy way to note members of a dissociative system, chats to talk to one another, polls, and log switches. I don’t know why it is rated so low, it doesn’t deserve that rating. It runs smoothly, it works miracles, you can now even change which friends can see what alters! It is a godsend and must need for DID, OSDD, UDD and more.

Inaccessible

although i don't agree with all this company/app creators ideals, this app is a great way to organize alter fronting, information, and communication! i just really wish there was a widget to see who's fronting on my account to make sure we don't log the wrong people on accident or forget to update it! (and maybe see who's fronting in my friends systems!). overall 10/10 app, love the features and i use it frequently!

it’s really good ! but..

we love this app! not only it’s extremely useful, and beneficial you could also track switches and even deeply customize profiles !! and i love privacy buckets <33 there’s a few things i wish were easier to work or add: chat notifications!!! it would be a huge help systems like myself forget about the chat feature, system communication is very important. notifications would be a great reminder of the feature.

This app is a lifesaver

I was diagnosed with DID in mid 2023 and after our therapist recommended we try using Simply Plural, we had high expectations. Not only does it supposed HTML so you can add images, edit text, etc. but has convenient tracking and date analytics. It has not only made it easier for us to communicate but also made quieter alters more open to fronting and expressing themselves. It does take some time to get used to, but even our younger head-mates have worked their way around it with some help. Seriously a 10/10

can be a little unintuitive at times (this is my own fault half the time though) and is sometimes a little buggy, but does what i want it to do & does it well :) devs are always fixing it up also! so even if its a bit finicky i still give it 5 stars :D
