Single City: Social Life Sim

I’m playing this game cos of the xover event with other ATA games but I’ll try to be unbiased. PRO: 1. If you like building your stats to be the strongest in leaderboard. 2. Like hitting other players. 3. Have 3 types of in-game currency which can be “gathered” so you just need to spend time instead of money. 4. Roomie and their furnitures can be easily obtained and levelled up. CON: ATA launched this game too early 1. The main plot just stopped with a TBC. It is also about your roomies having dating problems which IDGAF. 2. No more events after Halloween-not sure what’s the point to play. 3. You need to level up two areas - your home and its furniture, and your roomie and their furniture. Timer for home and furniture gets progressively longer. 4. Home and its furniture (which lets you level up) depends on tokens (which are hard to get) and is random drop (so good luck). I’ve been stuck for days now cos I don’t have the right parts to upgrade the furniture. Only way is by paying real cash or diamonds (which you also buy with real cash cos it costs too much to buy with the free diamonds you get) for the specific parts you need instead of depending on random drop. 5. I got drawn in by promise of interior deco but you get three base choices which are randomly available. For event furniture, for the two weeks (?), I got one random draw for entering the leaderboard (which took a LONG time as you can only get a fixed amount of event tokens per day) and one random draw for being around the top of the event leaderboard. So only two random event furnitures for playing the two weeks event. TLDR; Basically if you want to progress fast in this game, you need to pay real cash. If you just play this for free, there’s too many obstacles in your progression and I don’t see any selling point here to play. It is too hard to get anything as a free player and the plot or game mechanics isn’t interesting to keep my attention.

This is a toxic game where people can bother you and the game does nothing. Block doesn’t even work right. You block them but they still can see and respond to what you’ve written. I wish this was a single player game. There are users who are pure evil, they do things just to make you upset. The developers don’t really help and allow behavior that unfortunately day by day people just stop playing. All of the good friendly players leave and horrible ones stay. We should be able to just freely play this game and not have to deal with players who prevent us from progressing in the game.

This game is with out a doubt a very bad game for tweens my 11 year old daughter started playing this game and in the first 5 mins her roommate was saying she was gay and wanted her to get her a girlfriend. PS. People do NOT let your kids play this game Please get rid of this game

Been playing for over a year now. I love the Game but the real life ppl ruin it. There is rampant bullying, doxxing, and toxicity going on in the chats and behind the scenes in discords. I wish ATA would take these matters seriously and start banning ppl from the game because it makes it less fun.

ATA doesn’t care about user experience. They don’t listen to player requests and when they make developer issues players are penalized. Help center just sends a bunch of copy paste responses. You can barely grow or keep up with the game unless dishing out tons of cash monthly. Definitely would not recommend. We ask for one thing and they give us the complete opposite. They also lack diversity in many of the avatars and many times make the POC avatars more expensive (harder to get without spending extra money). *Bombastic side-eye!*

ATA would rather allow someone to stay on the game that bullies people in the most disgusting ways, up to telling them to unalive themselves. ATA simply silences those people and lets them stay around. There have been multiple instances, with the same person, who is still around. ATA NEEDS TO DO BETTER before they end up dealing with inevitable legal ramifications.

I would rather die then play this game

I keep getting harassed by LifeAlert and though I have reported, nothing has been done! It makes the game no fun.

Can’t play won’t let me do anything wished to have played but tried loading it again still the same
