SkillCat has a well put together set of modules for learning, a mix of reading/audio and videos to show the process. I started with a 7 day trial ended up getting the EPA 608 universal and went on to others to see what the courses were like. Ended up getting the year subscription and started the HVAC trade school program. Hoping this will help me better understand as well as help me with employment in the HVAC field.

Honestly, I never thought about HVAC in my life, but after coming across this app and looking through their programs, I tested HVAC and to my surprise I actually understood it lol. Very easy to learn and it makes you feel great knowing you learned something you never thought you’ll ever comprehend ❤️❤️❤️ If I could give 100 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I definitely would. I really enjoyed this app for my EPA 608. There were a few glitches here and there on the app but on the website it is pretty smooth. I enjoyed the video/PowerPoint aspect. I would also say one of the benefits of this app is that you can take the test multiple times and it also gets you ready for the test at the end of each section (Core, Type 1, Type 2, Type 3 (Universal)). One of the things that I wish they had more of are certifications. Since I’ve owned the app, they have done 2 updates, I like the fact that they didn’t just create an app and let it fizzle out. All in all, I would recommend this app.

I spent most of my Time studying for the EPA Section 608 alone and it was very difficult. I took their Universal exam and failed it my first try with a 65. I took at again 5 days later and passed it with a 86. The knowledge I gained from just going through their courses helped me out a lot as well. I’d say they have a great system and it really helps you better understand not only the EPA laws and regulations but also how to do HVAC. I am grateful for this opportunity.

This app is amazing, I had started taking the EPA Universal certification course and it is extremely informative and helpful. I just haven’t finished the course because I can’t afford to spend the extra $10 a month right now. I really wish I could because I really want to get my EPA Certification.
