Die sehr präzisen stündlichen Bedingungen zur Sternbeobachtung werden anhand von sieben Kriterien eingeschätzt und in einem Sternbeobachtungs-Index zusammengefasst, der Ihnen alle nötigen Informationen liefert, um Pläne zu schmieden. Die Formel wurde von einem Doktor der Mathematik im Star Walk-Team entwickelt und berücksichtigt folgende Faktoren:
- Gibt es heute Nacht am Himmel etwas Interessantes zu sehen?
- Kann ich Saturn sehen?
- Wird es bewölkt sein?
- Wird es regnen?
- Zu viel Licht?
- Ist der Mond zu hell zur Sternbeobachtung?
- Wenn ist der nächste Meteorenschauer?
Sie erhalten außerdem detaillierte Berichte zur Position und Flugbahn der Internationalen Raumstation, der Sonne, des Mondes, von Jupiter und anderen Planeten.

What happened to the app? The ratings are now inaccurate in my location. It’s clear when it’s suppose to be cloudy. Cloudy when it’s suppose to be clear.
