Don’t need a trainer
I prefer working without a trainer as I can’t stick to one time at the gym. Also, trainers tend to rush you to move on to the next client. With this app I just work out at my pace and when I want.

There should be options with smart trainer to add splits , like 4 days split or 5 days split. The weekly system is not very useful to me coz I follow a 4days split
Using is for a month now, the app is pretty good for you to plan your workout and gives good options of workout. But few improvements needed. When I finish a 3rd or final set in the workout the rest time you set is not getting activated it automatically goes to the next workout. Also when you set timer based workout and set a rest time between each set the rest timer does not get activated in Apple watch. The team need to add more workouts in the app and also the explanation of the workout can be better. Over all very good app to plan your workout and stick to it
I’ve been using SmartGym since a week. It definitely motivates and plans the workout for you. You are clear of what you will be going through and that clarity itself is one of the biggest motivating factor to get up and go to the gym. However, I’ve been facing sync issues between Apple Watch and iPhone. Though I’ve worked out and logged on the watch, the iPhone shows that I’ve missed my exercise.
I paid for a family plan so my wife could benefit from the app, but once she signed in she wasn’t onboarded at all, no setting up of goals, etc. The app just assumed “Beginner” level for her, with “Muscle Endurance” as the goal, even though she wasn’t promoted to say what she was looking for (I was when I set up the app for myself). Furthermore, despite her (manually) selecting the available equipment, the exercises being suggested feature mostly unavailable equipment. She tried logging off and back in again, but nothing changed. This isn’t exactly a cheap app, so I hope these issues are addressed ASAP.
The ability to take into consideration the equipment you have, is a damn good idea. Well done

It’s been now more than a year. The app has helped me create workouts and maintain my routine of 3 times a week using different combinations - dumbbells, barbells etc. It works very well. And importing sets that are not in the app is also very easy.
Sorry to rate about this, this is because app is fantastic and it’s looking very cool interface but trust me this app is more more confusing, More than 30 minutes take for this app to understand but unable to understand that how to use this app. Even don’t know that how to start by this app.
This app has so much potential but they’ve got one of the worst interfaces. Buttons over lap each other, very annoying to use while working out. Unsure how to change / edit workouts - something they encourage you to do.
