A complete and utter waste of your time. Made several attempts to use the scan feature to identify a number of pieces and this app failed to function as advertised each and every time.

This app is incredibly useful for a student like me who studies art and needs an app that gives you useful information about an artist or artwork. Not only that but it is fantastic for exploring new artists and artworks you never knew existed. I highly recommend this app to everyone interested in or involved in visual art.
Doesn’t work
What everyone else said - just keeps trying to scan without going any further
Can’t identify art from photo
I bought this app believing that it could identify art works from photos What use to identify in an art gallery when all the info is there I thought this app worked like Shazam Totally disappointed
Not for me
Does not allow you to load an image to determine name of work, only to take a photo (make a scan). No good for identifying works found online. Scope of use is far to small as a result.
No information on where active
This app has potential, though their are no instructions on how to understand which locations the app works in. Tried at the national gallery of Victoria on some European painting free public collections they have and app doesn’t work even say whether it can’t find or provide any kind of notification of why one ends up standing there holding your phone up at a painting for ages while the screen says “scanning”. Could not get it to work, practically pointless when you don’t have any basic guides to advice whether it works for art on display in consumers country or whether the art venue you are at is one of those where the app will work. But saying that. The I’ve used an app from a state art gallery and it was very poorly designed too...so early days I guess for art world going digital.
