This app requires you to download an additional app called Conversations. You subscribe to the Conversations app believing that you were receiving a second phone line for a business-in which you are not. I used this app years ago. It worked fine. I was able to download a phone number of my choosing and now you are directed to download a different app and the phone number I chose was not connected to the app. In fact, I had to cancel and I’m hoping I receive my money back. If I could have rated it lower, I would have.
More than a year a go Godaddy started to transition to a new app. I’ve been having so many issues with the previous app: caller ID doesn’t show correctly, I get an error message with some calls saying it’s not a US number even though it is. Godaddy’s customer service promised they would transfer my number to the new app by the end of January. Seven months has past and still nothing. Very disappointed!
My account just disappeared and my second line was suspended out of the blue. When I called customer service, the first 3 agents hung up after saying their name, and the 4th said he couldn’t hear me. It must have been a glitch with their new move to Conversations. I’ve really been impressed with the second line, but if this is how this rollover is going to go, I’ll just port out to Verizon. Answer your phones and please give us warning before suspending our service.
This app is now censoring certain words and phrases that GoDaddy sees as profane. NO MORE FREE SPEECH.
Worked well enough till the last few months , texting feature gone , most calls get filtered or spammed, the remainder of the calls when we try to answer , the call drops. What happened?
This app is Good but needs to be better. I’m sure like myself MANY people use this as their business line. There is a HUGE glitch and has been since I’ve had it (about 2.5 years). On the text message screen the numbers are constantly switching around so the name of one client will show on a message of another client then just like that it will change back. I’ve contemplated getting rid of it all together since I’ve mistaken my clients because the name shows on different messages and it’s so embarrassing, frustrating and unprofessional. I keep hoping that it will be a bug they fix but here we are same issues.
I figured it out.
The app crashes a lot, automatically signs me out unexpectedly, missing calls and texts
The app in the service isn’t 30% better. It’s not even one percent better. It’s exactly the same and it was hardly worth $10 a month. Raising it to $13 a month just because you can means I am canceling the service. This app has always been wonky and I’ve often thought of dropping it anyway now you just made up my mind for me by raising the price.
