I don’t normally leave reviews but since I’ve been using this app for the past few years I feel I should leave one. I typically use this app when I’m struggling to sleep and almost every time, I fall asleep before the meditation finishes. I find the voice so soothing and love how they end their meditations saying they hope there’s now a smile on my mind If anyone is looking into getting into meditation I’d absolutely recommend this one, especially because it’s such good value for it being a free app! 😁
I love using these meditations as they are so easy to use and very encouraging. Helps a great deal to calm my mind and give me a break from overthinking. Very helpful for sleeping too. It has taught me techniques to use at any moment. Thanks so much
I love Smiling Mind. I have found it so useful after are very challenging year. I keep coming back to it after trying other programmes. I really encourage you all to give it a go.
I’m learning to cope with hearing loss and 24/7 tinnitus. By taking time out for meditation, when I feel frustrated or just overwhelmed, I’m learning to cope with a changing situation.
I love the app but for some reason I don’t have the daily well-being check. I enabled it in the settings but it doesn’t show up. Can someone help or am I doing something wrong?
Thank you so much for making this free and one of the best apps out there. Having it free help so much with money it’s weird because a couple days I started to use mindfulness in my daily life Thank so much Whoever sees this you gotta give it a try
Everyone knows nowadays that mediation is effective. Even western medicine admits it had real tangible health benefits. So the real issues are these? 1. How do I meditate? 2. How do I establish a routine for mediation? 3. How do I keep it simple, enjoyable & effective? The answer is this - use an app like this. I love this one because a) it’s free and b) is been developed by an official mental health organisation in Australia. It’s even got a series of simple daily questions to help you keep track of your mood and mental health. It’s got a tonne of different types of mediations so you’ll never get bored. And best of all, there’s a way for everyone. You can either just look up a mediation based on your existing preferences; or simply pick one by random based on the amount of time you’ve got Ava right now; or of your really serious about making mediation part of your life - simply choose one of their programmes & get started today. My own experience is this - mediation significantly reduces both my anxiety levels and stress. Furthermore, it has a noticeable impact on my mood, well-being and outlook on life. The more often I meditate (look it only takes 5-10min) and my experience is that the best results comes from meditating twice a day; the better I feel, more relaxed I am, calmer, and best of all, I feel happier, I mean who wouldn’t want that? Given is free, takes only 5-30 mins per day and it makes you feel great.
I have been using the app for several years now. There is a plenty of content which is genuinely free, varied, great quality and easy to use. Work through a series of meditations or pick a favourite. Well worth having.
As someone who has struggled with anxiety problems this app has helped me calm down and stop worrying.
