Description

Snappier IPTV is an application available on Apple TV (4K models preferred), iPad, and iPhone. It does not provide any content, so you must have your own provider. The free version of the app will display a watermark after 90 seconds of video playback. The app features a powerful built-in media player that supports native Picture In Picture and HDR. It also has quick M3U and EPG parsing in the background and foreground, with support for 3rd party EPGs such as IPTVEditor through the External EPG URL option in settings.

The app supports multiple playlists, with the option to show all playlists at once in categories sidebar (iPad and tvOS), and the ability to update all playlists or EPG at once. You can sync your data (except playlist data and epg data) across all your devices using Snappier IPTV via iCloud Support.

The app allows live TV, VOD Movie & TV Series streaming (depending on your provider) in SD, HD, and 4K along with TV Catchup (depending on your provider). You can also use internal subtitle support, select internal audio tracks, and auto save position when exiting playback of movie/tv series episode, with auto resume when restarting that item. Automatic Video de-interlace in the default media player, with the option to change the video aspect ratio and buffer (default media player), skip forward/backward, and adjust audio delay (default media player).

Snappier IPTV also includes a multi-screen view (2x2 format at the moment), an alternative view for Live TV, Movies, and TV Series Landing screen (not available on iPhone), EPG support (depending on your provider), and the ability to sort by date added, name, or original order for Live TV Channels, Movies, and TV Series. Other features include favourites, parental controls, search channels, TV series, movies, and actors' names, and play a one off network stream URL.

Snappier IPTV also includes metadata settings that allow you to customise the information displayed for your movies and TV series. With the metadata settings, you can change the plot information for movies and TV series to different languages.

Additionally, the app includes several other features, such as:

Xtream Codes M3U or Xtream Codes Login option
Other M3U formats are limited
Tinyurl (and similar) support
Parental Control for Live TV categories and Movie Categories
Search All Playlists

Note that Snappier IPTV does not provide paid-for playlists, and not all paid-for providers support all features of the app. It is recommended to use an Xtream codes compatible provider for best results. You can use free to air M3U playlists, but some functions will be limited.

The app uses OpenSubtitles, The Movie Internet Database (TMDB), and JustWatch (via TMDB) as data sources, with KSPlayer and VLC as the video players. Apple TV HD will work but performance is not on par with the 4K versions so is not officially supported. For further information or support, please contact [email protected].

Very user friendly and has more / better views than others

This is quite the app for IPTV. I’ve tried 5 others and none of them are as feature rich in options. They also do not have a practical viewing of live tv, series, guide and movies. A very polished product that deserves being paid for. As well the full respect for privacy !

Still improving but bad for now:

This app has some good potential and room for improvements. But as it stands now, since the last update, this app doesn’t work. It freezes frequently and crashes anytime. I bought a six month subscription, I think it was a bad decision. Money wasted😢😭😭😭😭😭! My review will continue to be updated as long this app is still underdevelopment.

Paid for upgrade, Picture in Picture not working on iPad

Great app, great developer

The app has room to improve, but the developer works very hard on implementing new features quite often. I recommend you try it (it is free) and suscribe if you like it.

Its good, but could be great !

Here are some improvements in no particular order : * EPG still doesnt work on most channels (works fine in other app and same provider) * record or "download" on series or movies is not available * no 4k support on channels or movies. This is 2023 and 4k is everywhere. Other apps are supporting without a problem. * on some HD (720) channels when there is too much action, it slows down and drops frames like its 2010 again. I am running on a 1.5 Gb/s and 2ms ping connection (fiber optic) and ipad pro 11" 2022. No excuses pls. On device wifi ax speed test at 489mb/s and 3ms ping. * the UI needs some improvements (I really like the smarters player design, it's simple, elegant and very efficient - no harm in finding some inspiration there ). * the price tag of $44 needs someone to bring it back down to Earth, LOL
