Solves: Calculator for All

Its the calculator I was looking for, hope it will continue their necessary bug fixes and security updates, also would be better if changes UI & add some modern themes.

I really like this calculator, and use it all the time.. but, it produces different results from other calculators (or non-use of a calculator) in some cases. Enter -2^2 in Solves, and you’ll get 4. Enter -2² in Calculator (Apple’s app), and you’ll get -4. Apple’s is correct: -2² can be expressed as -(2²), while Solves interprets this as (-2)². Without using a calculator, using the order of operations, you can verify that Apple’s interpretation is correct.

Despite having paid for the full version, family sharing isn’t working for other family members. App can be downloaded on family’s phone, and when restored purchases it isn’t able to find anything.

this app spoiled me enough for me not to be able to enjoy the new calculator update for ios, add fractions and it will be actually light years beyond anything

Could you please make the numerical input line directly above the number pad have larger font? Even better if we can customize the size. Update: developer response noted. You actually cannot adjust the font size of the type line! Second Update: Changing the display font size changes the size of the result ABOVE the type line not the typeline itself

Yep, it is . Amazing app, powerful calculator , NO ADDS , yea you heard right , clean interface, finally a beautiful and decent calculator app for iPad !!!!

I’ve been using a TI-30X IIS for over 10 years now and every time I tried to switch to a calculator app there was always something that I needed that the app couldn’t provide. After trying at least 10 different apps I finally found this one. It allows you to move your cursor to edit an entry anywhere in the line (a surprisingly rare feature) and it allows you to recall former calculations and use the answers to them in future calculations. That combined with a lack of ads and ease of use makes this a fantastic calculator app! My only complaint is that the app tends to give 3 digits in front of the decimal when it is giving you an answer in scientific notation. For most people that is probably fine, but for my work that is annoying. If it either defaulted to 1 digit or allowed you to select how many digits before the decimal in the settings then that would be good.
