This app could not work worse!. It only recognised the songs that even my mother would do, however, when it comes to more specific songs or barely recognises any, supposedly all is “mumbling”. It deleted it and installed Shazam with a rate of 90% success when recognising.
not usefull for techno or dj sets, even if there’s is one song playing, it can’t find anything. must be only usefull for mainstream songs. very dissapointed.
I use both Shazam and Soundhound and they arr equally useful for finding music! Especially the hum function is very good, finds almost any song!
Also makes use of the microphone when the app is not active. Not possible (/easy) to disable this (or am I missing something?) so removed it….
I had sound hound for months and it had problems recognising songs when i sang now i know i was not the problem because i did 4 years of choir and i think have a pretty nice voice if i may say so myself I then finally decided to pair it with my Spotify account DO NOT DO THIS it was the single most stupid idea i ever had I started opening my Spotify app only to be on a different account that i had never seen and my account password was changed and i had to make a new one I ended up requesting that sound hound delete my data and was told ut would be done within 30 days I then deleted the app and i am happy to say that everything is finally back to normal Definitely would not recommend this app to anyone tho

I gave this app so many chances to redeem itself, but it just’t can’t find anything.
Have always been using this app for more than 10 consecutive years. Unfortunately this app has simply become a joke. Often doesn’t recognize (quite known or popular) songs. All it does it advertise advertise and eat your data. Goodbye Soundhound. Hello Shazam!
I had a song in my mind for hours but didn’t know the name, after a couple seconds Soundhound found it for me! I feel relieved!
