I’ve tried it on three different devices, the app takes about 5 minutes to return a “bad password” when I know it’s correct as I tested it on the website and copy/paste tends to be correct. I’ve rebooted everything. Trying to proceed as a “Guest” instead… the app just hangs. I have a $600 machine that I can’t clear the blinking light off the front panel. I guess I’ll add some duct tape to my brand-new Touch+.
The App has worked in weeks. Customer service is useless.
I would prefer an an update that does the following: 1. Lists basic set points and actual data on one page. A. Delay time Set: xxx B. Set point temp xxx C. Actual temp xxx D. Total on time: xxx minutes E. On / Off All is visible on one page. You know the set points are correct, what the actuals are. Also, it gives you a delay timer set point vs actual - all in one easy glance. Also, once you have a program you like you can save it in the app under a name you prefer.
Was able to log into day!!! Not through google but at least Facebook seemed to have worked ^_^ That being said the app does have a few problems still. Filters are screwy and the app doesn't fit the aspect if the modern iPhone very well.
Wanted total and complete access to my gmail account. Had to chamge all passwords. App don’t work. It’s still says loading forever. Useless
I was a kickstarter participant. I have never been able to connect the unit to Bluetooth hence, it has never connected Wi-Fi. The machine has never shown up on any of my bluetooth devices (iPhone 8,7+,7,6 iPad, Mac Book Pro and on and on). I called in December and I received a return call asking me to email the information. I have done that 3 times and there has been no response. Today I tried to open the app and I cannot log in. I tried to change my password and I cannot do it, because did not receive the recovery email (3 times) from Eades. So I tried to create a new profile. I cannot create a new profile because I get and error saying user name previously used. Believe me I tried a bunch of user names all them received the same error message “user name previously used”. I have been a long time user of Eades SousVide products. Really terrible to see how this company has evolved.
The Sous Vide Supreme I purchased is amazing, customer service is amazing, but the APP is absolute junk. I felt like I was transported back to the days of MS DOS or PC DOS. This app needs some serious work. Joule has an amazing app, it’s pretty lame that I refer to Joule for recipes with time and temperature settings. This review is for the APP not the unit.
This is simply the most difficult device to get connected. The book references that you must link to WiFi first. Secondly you must pair your device via BLE. The app doesn’t reference your WiFi setup after registration and the application never recognizes that your Bluetooth is turned on. I could have kept the old unit instead of getting a newer one with a useless function. Surprisingly the option to purchase a device through the app works just fine. In fact instead of initiating the pairing function when you click on the unit, they instead show you how to purchase and then you have to click to connect. This is poorly implemented and designed.
The app is littered with bugs making the touch+ model impossible to use with the app.
Exceeded my expectations! My steaks are delicious, so excited to use this product for other meals!!!
