Southern Railway

You really need to fix the bugs on this app. I keep having to delete it and reinstall it but still get crashes and I am often unable to see my tickets in the wallet.

right so this app used to work for the most part. the thhe updates would never appear but i don’t use the tube network on my daily commute, however i cannot search for any stations, look at any departures or arrivals, save any stations or plan any journeys, rendering the app absolutely useless. shame as the only stations that serve my local area are southern stations. please fix this

Unreliable, awful usability (what the hell is the difference between ‘view/activate’ and ‘load’?) Really, was there any testing on this piece of junk at all? It’s impossible to tell if you’ve clicked on the wrong thing or if the app has just failed. Again.

Trying to buy E Ticket on this is so frustrating I go in same journey every day want an open return and says there aren’t any What the !!!!

‘Use the Southern On Track mobile app to load your ticket to your Key smart card ow’ - is a bold faced lie. App is about as useless as the train services. Don’t know why I’m surprised

Purchased tickets and wanted to see if they were in my wallet. The app asked me to Login and I entered the correct login details 4 times. The app either sent me back to the login screen or advised there was an error but did not tell me what the error was. I have deleted the app. A complete waste of time and 1 star is too much for this app.

This used to work. No longer. Disclaimer - I use this a couple of times a year, have had it fir a few years. Goodness knows what has happened but I have just spent 20 minutes trying to buy a simple day return for tomorrow and gave up. Firstly, just try to find the “from” and “to” options easily! Pretty basic stuff ? Yes I thought so too. I, it wants you to enter favourite stations but, having done this, doesn’t allow you to actually do anything with them - like buy a ticket. I have an account, it didn’t offer me to of in until I had finished completing all my details again (as requested) - then has t remembers my previous phone details, then eventually made it back to the booking, tried to pay by card (no Apple Pay?????) and it crashed several times. I switched to The Trainline which offered me an anytime day ticket (which Southern didn’t), I booked the whole thing and had the e-tickets in about a minute and a half. I had to pay a service fee though, which makes the fact that it was impossible to book the journey without this direct with Southern even more irritating. Southern - what a complete and utter joke. You should be embarrassed that this pile of nonsense is live (well until you want to pay anyway).

Key Card functions don’t work. Payment is hopeless. Is this app even supported anymore?

I have used this app for some years now but, every time, I have trouble paying using Amazon Pay. I select my payment method and it kicks me back to which trains I would like to select for my journey. It works fine if I enter a card manually but that is laborious and I certainly don’t trust Southern to store my card details for future use. If you value your time, buy a paper ticket at the station.

I’m just trying to buy a ticket for my commute tomorrow, but the app bails-out at the point of payment each time. I’ve tried numerous times and numerous payment methods. Massive waste of time.
