Very straightforward.
Ticket Wallet - where is it?
Ref your latest update on 5th November. Where do I find the advertised side menu and the new Ticket Wallet? Kindly advise.
Latest update is bad
Can no longer view calling points on existing direct services that have already departed, very annoying when having to navigate a route due to train issues! Please fix ASAP
Advertise no fees but doesn’t split
The same fare is more expensive than Trainline because it doesn’t split tickets. So it doesn’t find the best fare as advertised.
You must have been listening
I used to curse every time I had to buy a ticket using your old app - so much wrong with it and so clunky. But now it’s a joy to use, takes a fraction of the time and leaves me smiling not swearing. Literally everything I used to hate has been fixed in the best possible way. Top marks.
Easy way to renew my Flexi Season Ticket
I use this app to renew my Smart Card flexi season ticket. It’s easy and convenient as I can renew my ticket from home or on the move. The only downside is that the app is regularly updated and glitches straight after. If you try & buy a smart ticket on this app when it’s just been updated, you will get a message saying it’s not possible to deliver your ticket to a smart card. It’s a known issue but never seems to get resolved. When this happens, the solution is to use a non-mobile device e.g. a laptop or PC to go online and buy the ticket on the Southern website. It’s not a major problem but it’s irritating enough for this app to only warrant 3 stars in my opinion.
Preferred the old app layout
Over complicated and not easy to see station stops.
Way, way better than the old app
Frankly, the old Southern app sucked. This new one is genuinely good and even easier to use than the website.
