I have a vr headset yes it weighs a lot more but with the glasses and the apps available on the app I’m able to watch the shows and movies I watch in big screen vr easily, also the news and other apps inside the app are amazing, didn’t think the glasses could get cooler but I was gladly wrong.
Both native and spacewalker youtube free movies and bought movies freezes. Like seriously worked once but second time now freezes. Please fix this bug I cant enjoy watching movies. I bought this glasses mainly for that its frustrating and disappointing.
The app has improved with the addition of the touchpad, but one thing could really make this app shine…IPAD SUPPORT! I have verified that my Magic Keyboard does work with SpaceWalker, but please give it trackpad support. This would help SpaceWalker begin to move away from gimmicky and into practicality.
Needs improvements.
If you use this for a tablet, controlling the app stinks. Also, can’t get the headset in 3D mode, because some genius thought long pressing the power button to engage 3D mode was a great idea and all it does is turn the device off!
Very happy to see native support for glasses on iPhone without a need for additional hardware. One wish: in-app IPD settings like Rokid Air has on Android.
Great app that gets updated timely
Great to have spatial video support so quickly. But all my videos are upside down! Hope they can fix this playback bug soon.
SpaceWalker is a stand alone app that doesn’t require the VITURE HDMI adapter but does work with some of the features in the glasses. If you have an iPhone hdmi adapter, you can try this app. I still find there is no real-world use. The browser is sub par. Even if your iPhone is already logged into some platforms, in SpaceWalker you will need to login again. The YouTube feature is the only one I use. The New York times requires you to sign up, so that’s frustrating, would rather remove/replace. The 3D viewer is a joke, the glasses have their own way of pinning the screen in space but then the app also has a way of using head tracking. They need to work in unison but they don’t. Also, the 3D experience has issues. Trying to view webpages that utilize Web XR doesn’t work. When using the glasses with an Android tablet, you can use Dex which is cool, but that has nothing to do with SpaceWalker and the hdmi adapter. I really wish they would add Google street view in a way that makes you feel like you are in the street. The There’s a bunch of little glitches that still need ironed out. Update: added feature to see hdmi adapter battery level.
