Ruined by the ads
Content is great but the ads are too disruptive. Noisy, last much longer than 5 seconds and no way to cancel them before they finish. Is it worth $12 a year? I don’t know. I’m off before I can find out.

🖖 We should be paying at least £100 per month, for this material. Designed for those without a proper education in Solar Space Sciences. Wonderful! but Sure hope nobody finds out about NOAA and other Sol resources available online. (Payed for by tax payers) 🙏
Best app for space weather information
The full screen ads that you can’t close are a pain and can only be counter productive. I don’t mind paying a one off fee to remove these but not a subscription. I will stick to using a web browser from now on. Good bye app.
Was a great app until they have recently introduced Ads. Goodbye Spaceweather. Deleted.
Good product and worked well but now having full-page adverts coming up for “Ocean credit” at random intervals that can’t be closed or removed. Only way is to close the app and restart it. Please sort this out!
This is a great app for all things SpaceWeather related, with excellent explainers for the more complex subjects. My only criticism would be the app alerts. I regularly wake up in the morning and the app shows there are (x) number of alerts. However, when the app is opened the alert messages disappear and there is no indication what they were or where they can be found. Fix this and it will get 5/5 stars.
It’s ok if you are in the areas where auroras form as for solar flares and what not. It’s kinda eh. If it had more info about how it affects us say like the south of England or we could see them from there it would be more of a useful app
Probably the best reference tool for Aroura watching.
I saw this app recommended by a photographer. I tried it, and I have never seen such obnoxious and persistent ads, none of which pertain to me. They fill the whole screen and play for a long time. Even when they stop running most of the time they don’t close and it is hard to find a way to get them off the screen and see the app. If they have a visible x on screen when I press it the App Store opens to the advertised app. From what I can see of the app you put a lot of work into it and the graphics are great. However, the ads seem designed to force you to buy a subscription in order to use it and not be frustrated. This is so coercive I will not buy it. I set up the alerts. I will read them on my watch but I will not pay for this product just because you made it obnoxious in the free version. I saw a post that said you have no control over the ads. Yet every other app I use in the free version has tolerable levels of advertising material.
