I can’t hear the speech so I have to re-download it. =/

Universal Translations

We are starting to live in a star trek world, where the universal translator will allow us to interact with people and perhaps someday, other species - easily and without communications barriers! This app comes close and is well on its way to being a top app! Way to go!

AWESOME

If you are a music composer and looking for some robot speak you are at the right place. I wish they would make this AUV3. Then it would be an easy five stars.

good! but there’s some room for improvement

the range of voices and interface of the app are good, and the recording feature is a great help. but my issue with it is that there doesn’t seem to be a way to pause speech once it starts speaking, without deleting the input text. it would also be a good improvement to have a feature, highlighted text, or marker that shows visually which part is currently being read in the passage, particularly useful when the app is reading long paragraphs.

A lifesaver

I suffer from ALS which affects my speech, Speak allows me to communicate in English or French (I live in Quebec where French is the official language) with family, friends and medical personnel. Being able to pre-program questions, answers and thoughts is a definite highlight. Merci Loic :)

Very easy!

Great and easy to use and record, very simple and perfect! I can write many things and the voice will still generate them easily. Very handy in many situations and is not frustrating to use!
