Bought this to measure a high-frequency hum which disappeared when I bought the app. So thanks for that. Seriously, though, a very nice UI wrapper around the FFT.
i’m very pleased by this Spectrum Analyzer; it is the only one that I’ve found that can run at full speed on an iPad Air 2! A+ To the devs; if you’re still updating this app, i’d appreciate a way to select other inputs on audio interfaces; I’d love the ability to monitor what’s coming into inputs 3+4.
I have used this app for many many years and made lots of money fixing sound issues. Also, the Spectrograph at max sensitivity can find any power whine to help regain your sanity. 10/10
Love this app, and the customer service is top notch 👍
Faber tried to rip me off by bricking my app with IOS 13 I refused to buy into their greed and purchased this app glad IO did it works really well Good App
Simple instructions, easy to use on my iPhone 6. Just make sure the mic port is not obstructed...or better yet, buy a Dayton Audio iMM-6 ref. mic from Amazon $15 becaus it has better low end response
Thank you for a well thought out, fast loading app. I wish I could send this to every church and every community theater in the country. How many people are frustrated with the performance of their sound system simply because they don't use their EQ properly because they have no idea how to set it? You can spend all the money you want on a sound system and it can still sound like a piece of crap just because the EQ is set wrong. Any sound engineer who has used a spectrum analyzer will immediately know what to do with the information that is displayed. I am the sound engineer at my church, and I have been the sound engineer on many of our community theater productions, and I use this app at least once a week, Usually more. Even when there is just a mild "ring" superimposed on a speaker's voice, I can within seconds identify the frequency and use my parametric EQ to just dial it out. Additionally, when we set up a portable system somewhere, I can blow pink noise through the system and use this app to identify peaks and then flatten out the response with a 31-band graphic EQ before anyone even picks up a mic. Everyone and everything sounds good from the get-go. Makes me look real good! I remember the first portable analyzer I ever saw; it was from a company called Ivy; it was about the size of an iPad mini but about 3 inches thick and had a big silver analysis mic sticking out of the top of it like an antenna. It cost several thousand dollars and used a matrix of old-school red LEDs. Now I have a much better one on my phone that was either free or a couple of bucks. My, how things have changed. Sent from my iPhone
Every feature is top of the line. I especially like the spectrograph for finding feedback after the fact and that it displays the overall level on the RTA
Hi! Are use this app to assist me and ringing out stage monitors as it is a lightweight easy to use simple and accurate bit of software that does exactly what you wanted to do and stays out of the way otherwise. I give it five stars for its smooth trouble free and solid performance.
