Features:

Using pre-constructed phrases, the Speech Aid app allows users to plan their conversations if needed and create a more personalised experience. The Speech Aid app is for both children and adults who are unable or reluctant to speak to live more independently with a digital voice, whatever their disability or impairment. Using a non-speech alternative such as this, children and adults who stutter, slur or choose not to speak can gain confidence, better control their speech and write out complete thoughts using their own words.

Speech Aid gives our users a voice that helps increase social interaction and they have gained greater independence by being heard and using the Speech Aid app to express thoughts, needs, wants, and ideas. Speech Aid has increased social interaction, school & work performance and feelings of self-worth.

Speech Aid is helpful to those who have lost their ability to speak due to some of the following reasons.

• ALS / MND
• Autism
• Stroke / Aphasia
• Learning difficulties
• Traumatic brain injury
• Down’s syndrome
• Cerebral Palsy
• Laryngectomy
• Apraxia

Plus, any other reason that might have limited someone's ability to speak.

Speech Aid makes communication easier.

Speech Aid provides people with a platform to share their thoughts and experiences. We worked closely with healthcare professionals and users to create a purpose-built and premium feeling app that does not feel like a disability device.
