I paid for the premium version of the app. Now a subscription has been introduced to access all features. I paid for the premium product thinking that would give me access to all the content. I would not have bought the app, if I had known a subscription would be introduced. Misleading and bad faith business practice.
I don’t typically pay for full access to an app, but I paid for this one years ago because it was THAT GOOD. All of a sudden I have ads and I have to pay an ongoing subscription to use it ad free. Imagine if you bought a movie and then a few months later they updated it to have ads :/
Great simple to use app which makes it easy to track and use spells in D&D. I had a small issue when reinstalling the app so used the contact email address in the app. The email was responded to straight away and the problem was solved!
I’ve been using this app for years now and I truly believe that it’s the best online companion for dnd ever, way way better then dnd beyond or anything like that because it’s free and the subscription is totally optional. HOWEVER- With the most recent update, there’s an ad banner appearing at the bottom of the screen that never used to. This is really really disappointing for me as I thought this was one of the very few apps that didn’t succumb to relying on ads but apparently not. I will continue to use this app regularly but simply consider this when installing it, and for the developers, this is truly disappointing.
Some things that I’ve been noticing and wondered if they could be fixed Iso device doesn’t show condition effects and exiting out and coming back leads to some visual display issues sometimes the app doesn’t keep track of the spell slot you’ve used. Like it wipes any that you had marked as used Import and export between your own account doesn’t work. That said it is across 2 different device but also shouldn’t linking to an account just copy everything even if you use 2 different devices. Otherwise I’ve been liking a lot of stuff the app has done
This app has every spell from every book. Easy to sort. Easy to use. Literally nothing I would change. I can’t believe it is free.
I recommend this app to all my players, it’s fantastic!! I love the filters! Having made an arcane trickster this app made it so much easier to see my choices with being able to filter out certain schools. The conditions on spells is also amazing so you can see what effects the spells have right there as opposed to having to look up what the condition means. The range of spells is also so good!!! Would very highly recommend this to anyone that doesn’t have all the books as it allows you to widen your spell range from the original players handbook. Cannot recommend this app enough honestly. Now I’m dm-ing and getting into more intricate interactions with NPC’s I’m having to make some character and spell sheets and definitely want to move to a subscription so I can get more characters in there. Well worth the price though!! You guys are awesome, keep it up! <3
This app is excellent. It lists spells from every official Wizards of The Coast publication, and is regularly updated by the developers. It is simple to navigate and make use of the features. The character spell tracker feature accounts for multiclassing splendidly, and is more than adequate for any players to use during a 5e campaign. The filtering options are thorough, and cover almost everything you could want; the only exception being filtering by spell damage type. Even with this minor negative point, the app is still outstanding. Can’t recommend it enough!

This is an amazing app that I use constantly. I use it to create ideas for PCs and the spells they’d have along with using it to see what spells I should add to existing PCs it’s well worth the small price to get the Premium version that allows for more character slots. I hope this goes further and allows for even more things. Thanks to the dev for making this
