The D&D Beyond app is a powerful (but slow) resource when working online. Working offline or with a weak internet connection it is barely usable though. This is particularly noticeable for camping — when roleplaying games are great on rainy days. Campers don’t want to pack many books, so bringing characters and rules all in one device would be wonderful… but just don’t camp anywhere outside the pale of wifi or a strong signal!
This has become the go to for us and every group I play with uses it. Would love to see it be cheaper to buy books because they don’t have to be printed but whatever. It’s fine does the job have fun.
I absolutely love the convenience of dnd beyond
The occasional glitch but mostly a really good app that I use pretty mind daily in and out of DnD games.
Lemme use the subclasses without screwing around with the app
i don’t want to update to the new edition, but dnd beyond does not give me the option to keep using my 5e content without mixing 6e content all through it. Do better dnd beyond, many people have made a significant investment in DnD on your platform and deserve to be able to play it with their rules of choice.
Can you guys please add a way to turn off 2024 rules. I’m in the middle of a first campaign with all first time players and we’re only just coming to terms with 2014 rules. The clutter in the spell lists is incredibly hard for some at my table to comprehend and it’s made it less enjoyable to use dnd beyond which was otherwise an amazing app Thanks

Have everything you need to play, no p2p and just fireball the world
Maybe adding some free books but otherwise it’s a five
