Use case: Imagine you are on a trip with two friends: Emma and Daniel. You pay $100 for gas for the trip. Anyone with a calculator can divide that price three ways, but even then, you’d normally have to keep a record of the expense in order to divvy it up later. With Splittr, this expense is entered in a couple of seconds and divided equally with little time or effort.

Imagine that later, you, Emma and Daniel go to a restaurant. You’re not hungry, so you only order juice. Daniel orders a steak and a cheesecake. Emma gets a spinach salad. The bill is $80. Daniel forgot his wallet in the hotel room and doesn’t pay, but you chip in $60 and Emma pays $20. You need a math degree to calculate who owes what, right? Not with Splittr! What an app!!!

So easy to use

Brilliant!

I love this app. Does what it says it does and does it eloquently. Very comprehensive, thought of everything. Even reports. Kudos to the developer. I'm impressed.

Simple app but improves our lives greatly

I've been using Splittr with my partner to record our contribution towards credit card, home deposit and mortgage. It's very easy to use and saves us time!

Best app to use if you have large groups while travelling. A must have to control expenses and ensure everyone pays their appropriate share. Thoroughly recommend. Easy to use and allows you to keep records in case their is any disputes.

So useful!

We used the app during a boys’ ski trip to Japan. We entered bar tabs and restaurant bills in Japanese Yen and settled up at the end of the trip in Dollars. Splitr is easy to use and such a great idea.

Amazing app

Very well designed and easy to use. There are ads for free users but it’s not excessive and in your face. Membership fees are also very reasonable.

Sharing costs made easy!

I use this app whenever I travel with friends and different people pay for different things; accomodation, meals, drinks, tickets. Makes it so easy to work out who owes who and how much.

Very well-designed, does everything

Nearly perfect for splitting any expenses incurred as a group. Mostly intuitive and easy to use. It does everything I can think of that one might want for this task. Very minor gripes: deleting an expense, payment or other item wasn't obvious (swipe it); it would be a little easier if you could apportion an expense unevenly as part of the creation wizard, rather than having to save it as an even split, then edit. Wish list: a pop up calculator option when entering an expense, a way of backing entries up to the cloud.
