Description
Sprite Something is a drawing, animation and tilemap application for pixel artists and game developers. Draw multiple frames individually, then quickly drag and drop frames into an animation, or use your frames to draw tilemaps for your game levels. Export your creations to PNG, animated GIF's and CSV files (tilemaps).

Tips
- touch and hold to select color when using pencil, line or fill
- touch the onion skin button once for relative frame difference, twice for locked onion skin frame
- when exporting individual frames, limit exported frames by creating a list of comma separated numbers or number ranges (i.e. 1,3,5-8,12)

Ummm
So this is just not meant for ios9 or the iPad pro I'm guessing? Huge shame because it was seems pretty awesome. If it could work for longer than 1 minute without crashing I'm sure I'd give it an okay score.
Good but buggy.
The sprite editor is very useful and I am happy with the animation tool. However, it crashes way to often for no reason. This is a very annoying bug and loses my progress frequently.

Just got better with the latest update. Layers! It's my go-to app for making sprites.
Hands down the best pixel editor
Now with layers! A well designed, robust and fully featured pixel editor - I’ve been using Sprite Something without issue and can always rely on it when I need sprites and animated sprites for game art or my own personal art.
Great app, but has some big problems.
This app is great as a spriting tool; it's flexible and has lots of extremely useful features. I would rate it five stars if it weren't for three problems. 1) Sprites are nearly impossible to delete. When you think you've deleted a sprite, it pops up again after a while. 2) It crashes on older devices (I'm using a 4th gen iPod touch and get lots of crashing). 3) Recently, it hasn't been saving sprites. If I go to create a new sprite with the same name, it tells me that there is already a sprite with that name.
Works, but not intuitive.
The interface needs a serious overhaul. I'd like to be able to easily adjust the size of the drawing area. The tool tab is directly beneath the 'docs' button, causing me to continually exit my work, if I slightly tap too high. As it is, this app is very frustrating to use. Its features however all work well on their own and I haven't suffered from any crashes. Lots of potential here though. I would suggest if you require a professional pixel art app, that you wait until they improve it.

Awesome
This app lets you do everything you can think of. I had a few problems on my iPhone 4 however. It wouldn't show ANY of my documents that I had made until I freed up a bunch of room on my phone. I'm also having a problem now where the app crashes almost immediately. I've tried turning everything else off and turning my phone off and back on again and still the same problem. Other than that it's perfect for what I need and want
