Bike issues
Bike stopped working. Passcode stopped working. Bike started to work again later. Was unable to file report, despite multiple tries. Thus, I will forward the report here for your benefit, future possible user. Do not use this service.
“Dear StadtRAD Hamburg,
My name is Joel Sennerstrand. At ******* at approximately 3 PM I rented your bike 32754. Apparently, after three hours the bike was somehow "returned" when I simply locked it and 'paused'. Do note that I at this time did not return the bike to a station. The personal code did not work and the bike was shown in the app as free to rent. As I intended to use the bike further I repetedly tried renting a new one, but to no awail. I subsequently returned to the old bike and I successfully unlocked it. In the app it now shows that I have rented it twice.
However, my issues do not end there. A few hours later I received two messages on the phone stating that I have rented bike *****, and that I have used it to such a degree that the 24h price is required. I did not once ride this bike. I did try to rent it when the above problem arose, but unsuccessfully. Somehow this bike was "flipped" to me hours after I had tried to register it. After I tried to rent it it was used - successfully - by a companion of mine who had the same problem with his bike previously, with the same solution. He was later unable to unlock it. In handsight the probable reason being that it was registered to my account.
I understand that issues sometimes arise with technology, but as non of these were of my making I hope that we will be able to come to a solution satisfactory to all parties involved.

Bike problems
To start off, I had problem finding a bike that worked, not the number of bikes, they were everywhere, but the vast majority didn’t work, even those who were at a bike station!
I thought the prices were good and affordable for almost anyone. But, two times during the day, I had a problem opening my bike after putting it in the pause mode. The first time it took me around 10-15 min to open my bike again. The second time I couldn’t open my bike at all and had to open and pay for another one!
Further on, the app didn’t show me my current bike even though I had one. The support number on the bikes only provided information in german, a language I’m not fluent in yet. The positive things, I thought the bikes worked fine and bike stations were available!
