Great app the best in the market
I like this app very much.very good graphics and information. I love it
They promote this as a totally new product, but it is not - it is a decent upgrade on version 1. Don't try and contact their support - they are rude, arrogant, disrespectful and have no idea how to handle a customer - only to be rude to them.
Best quick and easy live observations of moon.
This app used to function seamlessly, but the recent iOS app updates have rendered it useless. Disappointing because this used to be one of my favorite apps!
This app has it all. Really makes everyday people feel like astronomist. Amazing app.
Not worth it
It is very sluggish. Maybe I’m not using it correctly?
Update Aug-9-2024: Looks like they fixed the issue of having to zoom all the way in to find an object. Good job. But now…holy moly…they made this app so gaudy that I cant stand looking at it. Why is the night-sky bright blue??? Its dark blue in the original, which is easy on the eyes and looks great. And what’s with the gaudy diffraction spikes on all of the stars??? It looks terrible! Looks like someone thought it’d be a good idea to bedazzle the app. Bad choice. You guys fixed one issue but then decided to make it as gaudy and ugly as possible. Because of this, I have to leave this review at one star. Guy’s, the original is a work of art. Its nice to look at and its very useful. Do yourselves and everyone else a favor and go back to those aesthetics. Original review: It’s hard to find anything without using the search function. You have to zoom way in before objects will start to become visible, which is very different than the original version. Also, in the original, for example, the galaxies actually look as they do in reality. In this new version, they just use generic images of galaxies. For instance, the Whirlpool Galaxy is 2 galaxies, one being devoured by another. But in this new version, they only show some generic galaxy that looks nothing like reality. Same with the cigar galaxy which looks like a cigar in reality and in the original version, but here it’s just a fuzzy round mass. They really got lazy with this new version. I actually don’t even use it anymore. I went right back to the original. I’m actually p***** a little bit that I paid for this junk. At the absolute least...fix the images used for galaxies. Make them look like they do in real life, like you do in the original Star Walk. Very disappointing. Dec-23: In response to the developer. The issue is not having more objects, the issue is that often I want to find objects by zooming in. In the original version, you only had to start zooming a little before galaxies and nebulae, for example, would start to become visible, which made finding them much easier. With this version, you have to zoom almost all the way in before they begin to become visible, and that level of zoom makes it impossible to find anything without the search function. As for how objects look in the app versus reality, your 3D modeling is terrible if it can’t reflect reality as it did in the old app. A ‘picture’ of what an object actually looks like is leaps and bounds better than a “3D model” of some generic
This app is so well done. Great way to learn. And the visuals and sound are gorgeous.
