The game is now too focused on game purchases 23 euro or 43 euro to gain a little more, played since near the beginning and never really had to buy much but now it’s the games only goal to get you to unlock a character by paying for them
CG has disappointed the community
In light of the recent update, CG has ruined an enjoyable part of their game, galactic challenges.Not only did they revamp a system that didn’t need change, they’ve added a paywall to it. It seems in terms of rewards for the episode track it’s become get the same reward for twice the work. Galactic challenges themselves have become so obnoxious in terms of CG wanting us to spend money on them. The fact that they’re are shoving 2/4 feats into being locked behind a paywall is just disgusting as it makes people who are isolated from the community feel hopeless in completing the episode track without paying for the episode pass. Not only have they locked 2/4 feats behind a paywall they’ve made the other 2 feats extremely awkward if not just impossible for new or mid game players. Unless you have the right team you will not be able to get any rewards from GC. As someone who is a mid game player, I could just about it get the gold crate if I was lucky with the feats. Most of time I didn’t have the right team which I was okay with because just completing the battle did give me some reward. This new system is just a money grab for new players who can’t get any feats or even mid game players as we can’t get to the end of the episode track without spending money. My disappointment in CG in the blatant begging for money is not acceptable and has pushed me and many others in the community to reevaluate our commitment to the future of this game. I pray that CG reevaluates their decision as it definitely will affect the future of their game.

I’ve been playing SWGOH for a few years now, other games have come n gone but SWGOH is a constant. I’m a guild leader and do my best to help others, when first downloaded the game I would infrequently make purchases to help me on my journey but stopped due to the cost, in the years of playing I’ve not levelled a single character to max level. It’s ridicules. You get zilch for being loyal or for the efforts you may make unless you spend there are a lot of whale players due to it being a Star-wars themed game. The throw you some bones like “May the 4th be with you” and at certain Christian celebrations, these are welcome and do help. SWGOH is fun and challenging and they do update content linked to new Disney Swars releases, the graphics and game play are good all your favourite characters are here plus much more you just need very deep pockets. Unfortunately this is all too common with the current digital gaming model rather than good skills you just need MONEY to become a highly ranked player, from our passion as gamers and our love for sWars we’re making billions for apple n Disney and the producers, I’ve been gaming since the 70’s I’m heading towards my 60’s (gamer for life lol) the gaming industry is currently fuelled by greed it’s v sad really..
