As most have commented; the controls for touch screen are difficult to say the least. The more I keep playing, the more bugs I encounter with this game such as the arrows to the cash registers to purchase items won’t respond. If I’ve been fishing, the sound of the fishing rod reel will keep playing the entire time until I reload the game. After a reload, certain characters won’t respond no matter how many times I tap at them. The game itself is amazing, but the inconveniences that come along with it can be extremely frustrating.
Amazing version for it being on phone, does have some hicups
I started playing stardew on my boyfriends Xbox so I had to get used to the controls but, for it being on phone, the controls are great. One complaint I do have though is sometimes when I fish, the reeling in sound will glitch and stay constantly on until I close the app and open it back up. Hopefully that will be fixed soon.
Wishing for Apple TV Support
I’ve played this game on PC ever since it was released. It’s perfect in its current state, but I would be overjoyed if it was eventually made available to play on Apple TV with a controller. I don’t like playing more in depth games on iPads very much, the controls feel awkward.

Controller support is terrible
I just got the game and I connected my controller to my iPad. The game crashes every time I press create new word with the controller. If I switch tools midway through using it the game no longer recognizes any inputs. I literally can’t play the game with a controller.
Calling for an update
Stardew valley is one of the best games that I ever had, however, its iPad version is too left behind compared with 1.6, can u plz update the iPad version into 1.6. Thanks u so much

That was very amusing however I make progress in this game. One thing I’m not happy about is the lack of iCloud save and support. Please update it when you can.
Best Game Ever
I appreciate the shear amount of content and that all updates are free, there is content you have to pay for, in app purchases, etc. once you pay, you are golden! Love this game, I’ve been playing it for a few years, and I can’t wait for the 1.6 update for mobile!!!
I love this game so much but….
I love this game so much. I have put in 40+ hours of game time on my phone alone. The game is incredibly interactive and simple to play and the multitude of things that you can do in the game keep you engaged for hours on end. I can confidently say that this is one of the best games I’ve ever played on the App Store, but my only concern is the game crashes a lot for me. It will randomly crash and the whole app shuts down. The worst part is that the game doesn’t save when this happens, which causes me to lose, sometimes hours of gameplay. This has caused me a lot of frustration and I really hope the developers can fix this as I really love this game, but this bug is making it really difficult to play.
