Just invest in index ETFs instead

StashAway’s portfolios completely missed the mark over the last year. Far better off buying widely traded Index ETFs than putting your money in StashAway instead of paying them to lose your money for you.

Slowest enrolment I’ve ever seen

For a tech company, the time to enrol, deposit, and then invest is beyond unbelievable. Thailand is bureaucratic, sure, but each step takes ‘3-6 business days’ (quoted from the app and the customer service. The customer service told me that I can expect funds invested 16 days after I started. In comparison, I can wire money from my Thai bank to IBKR and it shows up same day. I can then invest next day. If you’re looking for a robo-advisor, how can you trust one that can’t streamline the investment process? If you’re an expat, I suggest looking for robo-advisors in your home countries instead.

Simple to use app for passive investing with decent YoY returns based on your risk tolerance. Recommend to all!

Seamless Use & Transparent Platform

The app is easy to use! I have tried the platform since Jan 2020, and despite the economic crisis from the pandemic I still feel secured in placing my investments with stashaway.
