Beware of this loss making app

My investment has returns of -10.99% over a period of more than 2 years

Excellent

This app is easy to use and log in. I must admit I had seen unsavoury feedback on StashAway elsewhere but I’m glad I use StashAway. In fact I think it’s great for beginners. So far the app has worked well. The StashAway team is also very helpful and respond quickly on WhatsApp.

Easy to use and good value

Customer support reponse is good and fast

Beware

Erratic active investment decisions that go against their own advice and routinely lose money. Inflexible customer service. Just buy an equity index etf (eg VT / VWRA) and bond etf - better track record, easier, and cheaper.

Long term investment only

Investing through this app is only for long term investors. Since I first invested in March 2021 I’ve lost about 4% of my investment and there is a high degree of volatility. The app is easy to use and the value of the investment updates each business day.

Overall good experience - straightforward, easy to comprehend, risks clearly highlighted. Only downside is funds take too long to be processed.

Super easy to use and very transparent. Love their investment philosophy and the educational section of the app. Great fit beginners and anyone new to investing. Highly recommended

Smart way to invest

Overall experience is great, the Stashaway app is easy to use and the information displayed about your investment is really detailed and easy to understand. Customer support is easy to reach via email or WhatsApp. I like that Stashaway's algorithm constantly rebalances your portfolio according to economic conditions, which is part of their ERAA investment methodology. This allows your portfolio to achieve better returns compared to the index benchmark. I have achieved positive returns despite the coronavirus market downturn! They also offering various portfolio to suit the different needs of different investors which is very handy.
