Stay on Track is specifically designed for hikers, walkers and even cyclists - providing vital features that are sadly lacking from other mapping apps:
1. All the Hiking Tracks & 3D-like Contour Shading
Using data from OpenCycleMap, Stay on Track shows you all the tracks and trails, and even better, contour shading so you can easily see where the high ground and steep bits are! You can quickly switch between a library of maps, including Google Maps.
2. Crystal Clear Location Marker + Direction
Most mapping apps show your position with a dot, but Stay on Track uses a see-through marker so you can see exactly if you’re on the right track or not. Stay on Track also clearly shows which direction you're facing.
3. Offline Maps
Many mapping apps require mobile coverage to operate, but there's never any signal when you're out and about. With Stay on Track just view your route before you go - and it'll be there when you need it - even if you can't get data. That's because Stay on Track automatically stores everything you see in the app for later retrieval.
4. Automatic Crosshairs
It's hard to show those with you where you mean just by pointing with your finger. With Stay on Track, crosshairs automatically appear when you move the map. Now your fiends can see exactly where you mean! Stay on Track also shows bearing distance to that point.
5. Saves Battery
