Steba sous vide

Took my a long time to connect. Once it connected I realized the app is complete garbage. Don’t even bother

I have paid extra money to buy Steba SV-80 with Wi-Fi connectivity to control my Sous Vide remotely. Unfortunately, this application fails to access remote control of the device. Although, the device was connected to WLAN and paired successfully with the app, the device control page is not accessible through the app, as I keep constantly getting error message ‘Request overtime...’ I provided a feedback about this issue through the app a week ago, but no response received from the developer and the technical issue is still not resolved. I am using iPhone Xs and the latest iOS 14. I strongly recommend to avoid this app and not to pay extra money for wifi option as it does not work and the developer is not even providing any response!!!

How do you reset a forgotten password in this app? Not very userfriendly app overall, good thing the sous vide stick works though

OMG. How is it possible to make such an amatuer app. Get in there and make it work. The recepies dont work, The name you Can give your own settings Can only be 6 char. Come on!

I’ve had the Steba SV80 for more than a year, but never got the Wi-Fi to work, until I configured a separate 2,4 GHz WLAN, something that is required for the Wi-Fi to work on this thing. After fidgeting with the connection from the App to the sous-vide a few dozen times, I got them to pair, by holding down the Wi-Fi button on the sous-vide for 10 seconds. After this life changing moment, my hopes exceeded reality, and soon my disappointment set in, the app is useless, e.g. we are having guest over for lunch, need to prep roast beef over night, I wanted to set the timer to start at 02:00, then by morning I could pick up the roast, grill it and have it cooled off and ready as cold cuts by lunch, but alas…. The app does allow me to start the thing, but not a delayed start - only start/stop and time on. So unless I’m unable to use my fingers (or any other extremity) why would I use the app? Do not let this app be the deciding factor, it’s a pita.

Funger ikke via wifi har fungeret en gang, den finder nettet og konnekter til appen, men der sker ikke noget, stopper på time put.

Sørg for at din telefon er på 2,4 GHz netværk. Tilslut strøm til Steba. Tænd på knappen, så der er lys i. Tryk på wifi knappen i 4 sec så den blinker. Connect på Appen. Det virker.

Har prøvet at connecte på 2,4GHz netværk i 1 time og uden succesfuld configuration. Virkelig ringe produkt. Burde være simpel plugNplay a la Sonos. Havde større forventninger til Steba. Køb ikke dette produkt hvis du går efter app funktionalitet.

Can’t connect to WiFi at all. Several WiFi tried, installing app several times - no effect.
