Just started using this app for a work challenge and I really like the features it includes and I think it does a good job at connecting and syncing my data.
Some changes I think should be added for it to be one of the best challenge/activity tracking apps I’ve seen are:
1. I think you should be able to edit activities you’ve added in the past. Having to delete them every time to re-adjust seems like a lot of extra work when you could just add the ability to edit them.
2. The converted activities distances for biking seem to be way off! I may just be working a lot harder than I thought but even for the “vigorous pace” conversion when I put the time biked it is off by sometimes up to 10 miles! (Ex. I put 100 minutes for vigorous pace and it suggests 10 miles of distance when in reality I biked 21 miles in that time.) this may also be true for other activities, not sure how your algorithm works.
2.1 A solution to the previous change may be giving the option to adjust the distance the conversion suggests and that updates the steps
2.2 Or instead of time duration you can input distance for the conversion and that would adjust the step conversion, obviously a harder calculation to make but would make it more user friendly.
2.3 Additionally, instead of adjusting the conversion it would be nice to see an estimated number for the steps you can input in the manual entry section based on the time and/or distance you put in. Obviously this is supposed to be done manually but, for example, when I added the climbing activity and it suggests I put 35k steps when I climbed for 2 hours I am unsure of how that would translate to some other activity I want to enter manually.
3. Finally, there also seems to be a bit of doubling up on the tracked activity where it will add a seemingly calculated or random distance for an activity I did that was tracked and synced via my Apple Watch but I cannot adjust what was done. If I could go in and adjust the blank activity slot for a specific day and say, “I played soccer this day” then it would organize what I did while also not adding on extra activities or steps to a tracked activity with the wrong amount. (Ex. This Thursday I played soccer, Apple fitness tracked this as a 95 minute workout, Stridekick tracked it as 5.5 miles and 9k steps. Makes sense. Something less accurate would be Tuesday I did Taekwondo Apple Tracked it for 20 minutes, Stridekick tracked it for 25 minutes for 1.44 miles and 2,800 steps. The thing is, I
Great app
Love competing with my friends in the challenges. Thank you for the app, but just a suggestion. Would be great if there was an option to delete the conversations in the dm, without deleting the friend request. Also, it would be nice if your friends has a button to cheer them on when they aren’t in a challenge with you.

Customer service is terrible

Challenges
I really like that you can have challenges between friends! I wish there was a way to cheer an individual within the competition.
Also, it would be nice if the notifications the app sends would let you know where to look for what the notification is about.
Overall, though, I love it as a replacement for Fitbit competitions!

Charge??
Why is stridekick trying to charge me, wasn’t this a free app?
Stridekick an absolutely amazing exercise application!
I have been using a Fitbit for about the last 10 years. I have tried many of the other trackers including Garmin, 5 Apple Watches, and Fitbit trackers many different models over the years from the type 2 all the way to the type 4 and now am going to purchase a new Fitbit as my present one which was a present from a great friend from Fitbit he and his family were using Fitbits to exercise and to stay fit and healthy sent it to me as a gift. I was so very grateful as I am disabled and appreciated it very much. I just wanted people to know that this particular application Stridekick is a lot of fun. It allows the users to use many different types of trackers but when Fitbit was acquired by Google it became a different type of application. I just was turned onto this application as many prior Fitbit friends and family migrated over to Stridekick so we could continue to be in challenges together. What a wonderful way to stay healthy, strong 💪🏼 and it’s also a great way to maintain or lose weight. I just wanted everyone to know that this application has helped me to lose about 15 pounds and I still enjoy working out, hiking, biking even swimming in order to stay active and to maintain a healthy exercise regimen. It works in conjunction with the Fitbit application but allows its users to use many different types of trackers. So if you are ever wondering what is a wonderful way to stay healthy and maintain a good workout routine. Then you have found the right application. Just remember to synchronize your workouts with the Fitbit application and Stridekick will convert it to their website. This is Fitness at its best as it’s a great way to meet new people and also to communicate with people you may have known from the past from Fitbit or Garmin even Apple Watches can be used so welcome to the club. As this is a unique fun filled and enjoyable way to stay active, get lots of exercise and it promotes you to eat healthy and live a better lifestyle. Thank you to the developers and to the software engineering team. It might not have started out in this iteration but it has surely improved my health and well being.
Alternative to fitbit
Thank you for providing an alternative now that google had removed fitbit challenges. I love the fsct that many different brands/ or phones can use the app ! Please consider adding an all in one challenge that has a mix of metrics like heart rate, steps, elevation. Like fitbit bingo! It was my favorite with friends and is sorely missed!
Robo Friends be aware.
I am getting overwhelmed by friend request. I hit decline and it happens over and over again. Stridekick I hate to leave, fix this problem please.
