Strikeman

App doesn’t work at all. Either makes up shots or fails to pick up actual shots. Complete fail.

I’m quite amazed how easy this was to set up and use. Still learning since I’m a senior, but a great item to use in the privacy of your home to get more familiar with your weapon and your aim. Well worth the money.

I’ve used the app with both a 9mm and .40 cal laser cartridge. My .40 cal handgun is really stiff even after at least 1000 rounds down range. I’ve used the Strikeman app to continue breaking it in when I don’t have time to go to the range, especially since .40 cal ammo is so expensive right now. Set up each time I go to shoot is pretty easy, and it recognizes the target both when the phone is directly in line and when it’s at a slight angle. It is annoying to have to rack the slide back each time I shoot, but I keep telling myself that it’s not only continuing to break it in but that it’s also great to practice muscle memory when my hands reset so that I’m continually resetting it at the right angle. It seems that the app hits to the right of where I’m aiming, but I also may need to adjust my sights, and I haven’t done enough comparison to the range at the same distances to determine which is the issue. Regardless, I’m glad I finally pulled the trigger on the purchase so I can practice more often.

The app and hardware worked perfectly. I’ve been using it about 10-15 minutes a day and can tell a remarkable difference.

The Strikeman app is straightforward and user friendly. You can setup multiple courses of fire to change up your dryfire experience. I enjoy using the app at home to improve my shooting.

Tried the 38 special Strikeman lazer bullet and target. Had a little learning curve at first, but that was my fault. My home defense conference will continue to improve. Thx Strikman

This is great concept and excellent tool to improve basic fundamentals of marksmanship while saving money on ammunition. Can also drill with it which immensely important for practical application and use. Builds confidence and competence!

The Strikeman allows you to practice your grip and trigger control without burning through your ammo. Sure, it won't be as realistic since it doesn't take into account the effects of recoil and follow-up shots, but it beats the costs of going to the range frequently. With the Strikeman, you can practice everyday and save your money on buying premium JHP ammo instead.

Like the title says, this app is no longer functional. The app constantly calibrates the red circle to the 6-10 range but does not include the entire target. This happens every time you use the app no matter how many times you refresh/reset it. Turning your phone off and back on also does not help. This app has never worked well and is now just a waste of $100. If you’re thinking about purchasing this, try mantis instead.
